I am new to RPG maker and I have some questions about this script.

Will the player see a visual que to let them know the "rare" enemy is indeed rare?

Also, does the reward scale with the "rare" status?

"Rare" enemy is another enemy altogether, so you can change his loot, stats, looks, everything.
And you don't need to send a PM asking to check the post 0 minutes after posting.
