Towns. Essential parts of every RPG. Sometimes it's hard to make your town work - maybe it's hard finding a design that works, maybe it's annoying trying to make the place seem full enough to count as a town or maybe it's just a bother trying to figure out the pathing, roads and how big a town should be.
Never fear~ Liberty is here! And I've brought another video tutorial, this time based on town mapping and how to create a town from scratch! In this video we'll explore villages, how to decide on the kind of town you're making and how to go about creating them.
Quick round-up of what you'll find in this video:
- Paths
- Starting a village
- The house conundrum: how many houses should a game creator make?
- Shift and Nature mapping
- Ants (don't ask)
- Giving your town a story and more
So if you're struggling with creating a town, want tips on how to make your towns more versatile or just want to hear an Aussie talk about stuff for a while, check out the above video.
As always, if you have any questions, feel free to ask!
