Well, compared to last year where Montreal was the only one in there, I’m really happy that Ottawa, Winnipeg – especially Winnipeg – Calgary, Vancouver and, of course, Montreal all made it in this year. I mean, the more Canadian teams in there, the better the chances of the Stanley Cup coming back to Canada after 22 years when the Montreal Canadians last won it in 1993. I mean, we were awfully close, damn it, back in 2004 with Calgary, 2006 with Edmonton and 2011 with the…er…Canucks (damn riot…!) - so maybe this year will finally be the year!

And the best part is, no stupid Boston or Los Angeles in here this time around! Yaaaaaayyyy!!!

no stupid Boston or Los Angeles in here this time around! Yaaaaaayyyy!!! Actually, I don't mind LA. Its the Boston Goons that I am glad aren't there.

But two of the rounds are canadian teams vs canadian teams. Oh well. I am guessing we will have a Ducks/Stlouis and a Tampa/Rangers conference finals, with a Ducks v Rangers final.

Would people here be interested in a simple playoff pool?

Candian teams playing each other in the first round is the sure way that there'll be Canadian teams in the second!
