I can't recall any RPG where Luck determines how often you're targeted. Besides, even if it that's the case, I'd expect lucky people to be targeted less while in Legionwood lucky people are targeted more.
I'd wondered about that. In previous games, luck was an indicator of multiple little variables. In some games, it increases the frequency of positive events, the chances of finding rare items, the likelihood of critical hits and evasion, and other things only the game developers would know.
So, for luck to increase the chances of getting hit I do find a little strange, but it was something I started to suspect when Liara and Thyrra took more hits on average.
It also explains why Alexis was Castoth's punching bag in the final battle >.>
