Yes, there's a limit to the amount of coins/ information you can place in the editor.

Terranova wastelands: I did my best to implement the hellish surface conditions using
Mario bros V.3 engine. I thought swimming through the dense atmosphere would be
neccesary even without layers.
Great pyramid: The pyramid had about 366 steps in total. Well it was designed using
the top-bottom approach. That still only 40 stories tall.
