If this ever happened, would that mean technically Hero's Realm could become a commercial game? Obviously would have to change some stuff.

Assuming all resources were kent's own or RTP, and the legality clause for selling rpgmaker games remains the same as Enterbrain's newer software, then yes, of course.

That said, the chance of this happening is approximately nil, as the financial incentive for a giant like Enterbrain is so small as to be non-existent. Few people want or care about this and fewer people still would actually follow through on actually purchasing ancient software that's a decade or so old.

This statement is almost as dumb as the opening post. Why would you intentionally slaughter a photo's visuals by saving it as a .jpg like... ever? Photos might very well be the media most reliant on visual fidelity.

As for this topic, this info is bogus. Please ignore it, use just about any other image format, and carry on.

Actually a pretty good read, albeit a very personal one. I haven't played either of the games mentioned at the end of the article, but I definitely agree with the finer bits regarding subtlety and the like.

And, well, that FF8's love story is poop.

I liked this game. It comes with its share of issues and I thought some bits related to the storytelling could be improved, but it had a lot of heart and the characters were pretty likeable.

So, having a pretty small idea of what Astra's outfit is and no idea what the heck Relenia is supposed to be wearing, I drew fanart!
