Who is your RMN OTP?

author=Kylaila
Not sure whether I should be happy or disappointed I have been left in peace.

Somewhat this. Though, I think somebody shipped be with unity whenever it was ago?

RMN brings me to tears. Tears of joy.

If any of you meet me in real life, you better run, because a kiss is incoming.

That... does sound a bit scary.

Wanna playtest?

That gave me a bit of a giggle, piano.

*Edit: Annnnnnd, PM SENT!

[RGSS] Can the Z-coordinate be negative?

Do you mean layers? I'm only familiar with GIMP, but, I would think that most graphics programs that can handle layers assigns a positive number to each layer.

Phoenix Mafia: Online Turnabout

I don't think I'll join this one, but, maybe, make a status about sign-ups for this thread? Alternatively, bribe Liberty convince a mod to sticky the thread?

Make all encounters mission-based? I dunno about that!

For the moment, I made sure players can escape/run from non-mission-based encounters, plus a few other tweaks that were gnawing at me. Once that finishes uploading, I'll let you, and anyone else that posts later, have a hack at it!

*Edit: Er, I hope a version that requires the VX Ace RTP is okay? Meep!

Making non-mission battles optional would involve on-screen encounters. The expectation, then, is that such events would behave in a similar fashion to the player (ie: not tied to the grid). Since I've not tried to make an event with movement under Glasses' movement script, initial testing about how events move to begin with would be in order. From there, it can be determined how difficult it would be to obtain the kind of movement patterns players might expect. Saying that, I'm not terribly keen on a system where enemies home onto a player at an insanely-hard-to-dodge (or even normal) speed as the player gets into a certain proximity.

Battles tied to missions, however, should probably stay with the entering-a-new-area processing that they already have.

What are you thinking about right now?

When real life stuff gets you upset, what do you do to wind down? All I can think of right now is listening to music.
Go read the responses people gave you in the Wyrm Warriors blog, xD.

This, and recall that RMN brings you tears of joy.

I've just done a little promo on biggest czech rpg maker forum, plus fb promo.

Here I was, pretending to believe that they were playing this game while eagerly awaiting in the shadows for Myriad Cypher to be completed.

In more seriousness, having downloads is still good news for you, even if there are no comments. I might want to re-play this again. Have there been fixes from last time I played?

Let's work on your game descriptions!

the protagonist has no name, it is the Player, but i guess i can put him a name, and let the players choose too.

In that case, you can probably replace instances of "<Protagonist>" with "you", and be okay.

and can you please fix this features? they are so bad.

- Choose from over 15 League of Legends starting characters.
- Gain experience, levels, learn unique Magics, techniques, and unleash your champion' maximum potential.
- Meet people, friends, enemies, and others.
- Build relationships with them.
- Play in tournaments, contests and all kinds of events.
- Fight powerful Bosses and Minions.
- More than 15 different endings, Bad endings, Endings, Good endings, and the REAL ENDING.

I don't particularly care for feature-lists, if only because they always seem to make the same points. Anyway, maybe something like...

  • Choose from over 15 starting characters, each inspired by League of Legends!

  • Learn unique magics and techniques to unleash the potential of your characters!

  • Meet interesting characters! Build relationships with them, if you so choose!

  • Play in tournaments or more casual contests!

  • Battle against powerful foes!

  • Over 15 different endings, including various "bad" endings, "good" endings, and one "real" ending!

...that?

*Edit: I dunno. The point about bosses/enemies is kinda generic in both versions, to be perfectly honest! Also, if players get stuff for participating in tournaments, a note about what the rewards might be could be useful.
