Holy crap, I got chills when I heard that music! That's not Blackmages is it? If I remember correctly they did this song. Their version is good, but this is godly!

Okay, I'm now curious. Is Reeve mini'd as well as Cid, or is the Imp status simply that small by default?

Dooms 3 - Rough day

Played up to and including Dooms 3. I am planning on playing the fourth one soon.

Yea, I beat her before she summoned anything, which is like the first 5 or 6 turns. Otherwise, I would get her really weak, she'd summon her first monster, I'd kill her, then my sanity would be too low to do any significant damage to the guys she summoned. In terms of understanding what happens during that battle, I'd be hard pressed to even guess what is supposed to happen story-wise!
My guess is that Fransisco dies at some point and the girls side with her, or she comes to her senses...? Or something...? That's the best I could gleam considering she ends up leading the party after the battle.

I thought it was a fantastic game! It was fast paced and easy to wrap your mind around. It's hard to beat that in a game that looks as good and is as balanced as this one.

Loved this little gem! I was starting to get bored with the long epics that can require hours of grinding (may be due to my over playing of Hero's Realm...). I enjoyed being dropped in and let loose! The gift and skill finding system is fun and gives a different motivation for grinding/defeating you enemies.
The boss was a pain in the ass for a little while, but I finally found the right combo of skills and used them in the right order (and got a bit lucky). The only way I figured she would have been possible to kill was to get rid of her before she summoned anything. Otherwise, damage output gets spread WAY too thin, and sanity decreases to a point where nothing can really be done to the enemies at all.
I think I might write a review, even though a great one has already been submitted.
