If you keep teasing me with these updates, I will be all out of drool by the time the game comes out!

Final Fantasy Blackmoon Prophecy

Oblic, apparently the Change Log is the Bug Reporting paga for this game. I got it doing a RMN search.

I KNEW there was a page for bug reports! Thanks!

Final Fantasy Blackmoon Prophecy

So.... I know there are about 9 million pages of posts, and I instigated quite a few of them, but I can't take the time to go through them all, and I guess the bug report blog is lost (at least I thought there was one at some point). Anyway, I think I found a minor bug. I know you probably have no plans to fix the smaller stuff anymore, but...

At the Palumpa Post, you can get a chocobo, cross the river, and come in through the back of the village without talking the captain guy. You can still kill all of the monsters and get the treasure and whatnot, but the guard will never move out of your way. Again, it doesn't seem to be that big of a deal considering you can just bypass the village with a chocobo, but I figured I'd mention it anyway.

And I know I said I'd be the first to finish this bad boy, but LIFE IS HARD! Still, I am thoroughly enjoying my playthrough! One more thing...

I found Terra's (the "Mysterious Woman") hideout, and I was very disappointed by the lack of treasure! Oh, well... my heart nearly exploded when I heard that music though!

It is ending. Finally.

Pretty excited for this to come out! Congrats on finishing it up! All that hard work is about to pay off.

Hero's Realm

*sigh* It's weird being nostalgic about a game that was created with intent of being nostalgic about a set of other games... I should play this bad-boy again, without any kind of murderously tedious goals in mind!

VX Ace Sale on STEAM

author=Space_Monkey
steam is kind of a pain in the ass. If I buy vxace from steam do I have to log into steam every time I use ace or can I just download the stand alone program and use a key from steam (if I even get one?)

As far as I know, once you have the program on your computer, you can use it without logging into steam. You may have to OPEN steam, but you don't have to be online.

Yes! http://rpgmaker.net/forums/topics/13894/

Which is why I made the raffle tomorrow morning, giving time for the losers to still buy the engine at a steal.

Didn't notice, my bad...

VX Ace Sale on STEAM

I wasn't sure where to put this, and I don't know if someone already said something about it, but... VX ACE IS 66% OFF (only $24) ON STEAM FOR THE NEXT 2 DAYS!!! I know a lot of people may already have it, but if you don't, this is a pretty good deal!

Ok, I just took the time (only about 20 minutes, but I'm impatient!) to read through this whole blog and I am starting to realize where the "hate" is coming from. I guess, like the OP, I mistook "overzealous concern" with "direct attack". I think part of the problem is the fact that a lot of the legal accusations (I use this term lightly here) were open to the public. Not that there is anything wrong with this, but some people recoil if they are called out in a public setting, let alone in front of a group of peers. I agree that there should be some form of transparency, but letting the guy know what he's doing wrong "behind the current" and letting him acknowledge his mistake on his own may have gone a ways toward things getting done more effectively.

I will agree (after reading as much as I have) that he seemed a bit evasive with some of the questions. It's a moot point now, but I don't think the legality of the use of RM2k3 really sank in. Honestly, I wasn't FULLY aware of the implications of using the engine until now (I only thought you couldn't profit from it, but now I know that using it AT ALL is a no no...).

I also think the tone of the incoming concerns (as you mentioned) was pretty harsh. Again, the more a person feels attacked, the more likely they are to recoil negatively to said concern, even if it is to the benefit of that person. (I am speaking out of experience on this one... burnt a lot of bridges...)

Either way, I hope that everything pertaining to this project turns out well. I rescind my comment about the "hate" in this blog, but I still think things could have been done and said differently (on both sides) to avoid a lot of the anger, which is definitely there.

Now, I should jump off this high horse before it'll become suicidal to do so...

Wow, never saw so much hate concentrated in one place before....

Nope. Not dead yet. ^.^

I'm afraid it's my 'determination' project. The one a developer is determined to never give up on, no matter how long it takes!

I hope this is still the case! I love the look, feel, and sound of this game!
