QUIVERSEE'S PROFILE

RPGS... you've beaten

More or less, you're right, except the world map being the same. Besides the Dark World repeat in the latest game, about the only things that remain identical is the names of places, like Kakariko and Death Mountain. The maps of places have changed as far as location and appearance. But again, you are right; I can't think of any new named areas in TP since Lttp, except for Snowpeak.

Destiny

Wait! I think the problem was the site the images were from was down! I think I fixed it!

How's that? Enough screens?
By the way, the title should NOT be there, it is an error I can't fix. Oh well...
Also, the battle system shown is a variation on a tutorial I found at http://uirpg.com/tutorials.php?act=view&tutid=92, by badmonur, but it has some unique features I can't show!

RPGS... you've beaten

Good point!

RPGS... you've beaten

I asked like 6 friends about LoZ, and I checked earlier posts on this forum, and all read it as an RPG. I felt it as adventure, but I posted them anyway! You are also right on the repeating....ever since OOT, elements have been redone over and over again.

RPGS... you've beaten

Zelda was one of my "debatables", but as for FF tactics, I have wanted to play it, but it was just never available here for some reason....
Guess I'm unlucky!

I tried to upload some, but I can't get them to work!
Just upload your screens to Photobucket or something. Even though your most unique thing is a Dual System, I hope you something else up your sleeve, because a Dual system isn't really that great a feature in my opinion, mostly because it's been done heaps & unless your doing something like that as a battle system, then all I can say is good luck with that.

I tried that method with that same program, but the images come up as errors. Also, the dual battle system is just one thing. I do have more, but haven't said it yet ;)
Anyway, I don't know why that keeps happening. I also tried HP Image Zone, but had the same results.

And you are...? (THE INTRODUCTION THREAD)

This is my first forum post...ever.

I go by Quiversee, or whatever shortened version you like. Thst's all I have to say about me!
Ummm....welcome then.
*tries to think of clever nickname*
I will call you Quee. That actually sounds kinda cute. v.v It's one letter of from Squee.

Like I said, whatever you like. Typing Quiversee over and over again is annoying. It is kinda long!

Screenshots should be posted. If this is a game you just started, please repost the topic once you have made significant progress.
I tried to upload some, but I can't get them to work!

Destiny

I made the game The Legend of Zelda: Eternity Seal. It was my first project ever on RPGMaker XP. I am now working on a new game called Choices of Destiny. This project is my first with an original storyline. It is waaaay too early in development to start a game post, but I will put one up when I feel it is appropriate. I am creating this post to let people know that this game exists so suggestions can be made as I go along.

This game focuses on my favorite aspect of most RPGs....customization! In this, you can choose between gender and 8 different classes, for 16 possible characters! Each character has unique skills and stats between classes, and discrete differences between male and feamle, mainly in how you interact with others. Also, the game has 3 possible outcomes:
Good, evil, and neutral. Your actions have direct influence on your alignment, as does your class. For example, Necromancers can never become good, but clerics can never go evil. Rogues tend to stay neutral, as do mages. Being a jerk to townsfolk will bring you to evil, while saving a child or donating to a temple will bring you to justice, given that the temple is good. Being evil will cause some townsfolk to ignore you, others to listen that didn't before, and such. Guardsmen will attack if your reputation is bad enough. Also, being good will give you discounts at shops, and open up new reactions from townsfolk, which could be very beneficial. Neutrality is random at best. You never know how people will react.

Finally, the most unique thing about the game to me is the process of a dual battle system.
The first type is the same as what is already incorporated into the game. The other is a pseudo-real-time system, where you choose commands for your overworld player. These are reserved for random encounters exclusively, usually bandits or wandering goblins. That is all I will reveal for now.
