GANONFROG'S PROFILE

I make pixels, write, art unimpressively, and make lists if things that I do in relation to game making websites.

I've gotten a couple of requests from people wanting to see my old Final Tear 3 review, so I reuploaded it here:

Looks nice. The minimalistic look really works here. Good luck in finishing all of it!

It probably wouldn't hurt to have just a little more, if you don't mind giving it another shot.

In that case, I strongly recommend trying to see if someone else might be willing to help out. (I would offer myself, but I'm terrible at mapping as well. XD)

Awfully big and empty room they've got there. I understand wanting to use the mapping tiles, to keep the size matched up with the people, but you've got to keep in mind that it makes just as little sense for them to be in a big, empty space as it would for them to be surrounded by huge objects.

This is some lovely mapping, though perhaps a little over lit. I'm not against bloom lighting, it tends to look quite pretty and dynamic, but I feel what you're using here is a bit too saturating. It gives the impression that the lights are actually a little blinding, both for the player, and for the characters ingame.

fencermans behind arm could be a little more lax. thought he didnt have 1 at first glance

Alright. I'll loosen it or have it move around a bit when animated.

Man, there hasn't been much love for the pixel thread recently, has there? Oh well. Reviving it with a new sprite from the set.

After I make an enemy for them to fight, I'm going to start animating.

Off course... there are port's :)
(Of course, the game has many credits, but are ommited for creppy things... the box for example, is from Ninja Gaiden xbox CD case).

If you want to know them, just tell me.

Oh, alright. Just as long as you didn't try to claim credit, it should be fine. Maybe put the credits somewhere on the game page so that they don't get in the way of the crazy tone of the game?

Speaking of which, while I wasn't... exactly sure what I had played when I finished this, I really liked the crazy windows system scroll and the use of sound in this. It was legitimately creepy. The Russian error boxes at the end were pretty great, too.

Though I'm not sure what the inverted queen was supposed to accomplish. Even more so than the rest of the madness in here.
