HALIBABICA'S PROFILE
I'm a twiggy nerd who draws comics and makes games for fun. I mostly use RPG Maker, but I've also branched out to Game Maker (see Spelunky mods) and plan on upgrading to RMVX Ace at some point. I put just about all my game stuff here on RMN, and you can find my well-written (but poorly-drawn) comics in my gallery at deviantArt.

Okay, I finally reviewed pyrodoom's levels. Y'know, like I meant to yesterday. It looked like Cloudsdale Sanctuary and A Cheesy Level hadn't been updated at all, so there's nothing new for them. The other three all have new feedback, though, so be sure to check the wiki!
I'm busy with a few more things this weekend, but I should be able to review more levels tomorrow. I say 'should' because with my record lately it's like I'm trying to disappoint people. >_<

After consulting with the other judges, I decided to extend the feedback period to include all of April. This is meant to give us enough time to review (and re-review!) your levels so that you'll have time to fix them up and get them approved, so I hope nobody minds.

You're next on my list, pyrodoom, but I won't get to yours until Saturday. I'm busy all day Friday. :c

So I just noticed something interesting about encounter rate in VX Ace.
Hmm...the +1 in the standard formula is meant to prevent zero values, right? If you changed that 1 to a 10, wouldn't that make 10 the minimum steps you could go before encountering something? Just a thought.
I never properly understood how the RM* determines when an encounter happens, so this was interesting to learn.
