It's a slow burn! You're reviving it from the dead, so of course it's gonna be a little slow and shaky and maybe missing a limb or two at first :P
Also, I keep changing my mind on what kind of puzzle I wanna make... a series of slidey puzzles? Logic games?

I am going to try my hand at a pacman clone called Zac-Man
Solar Platypus Part II: now with more puns!
Looks like I'll have to entry the fray then to ensure that the game is finished then, and I'm going to make a jerk puzzle to punish y'all for making me do this!
I'm working on my map! I've found that programming a simple jump maze in a lake of lava where the player has full control over which direction they jump (even in the lake) ain't that simple. For landing in the lake, you burn up and get taken back to the beginning of the puzzle. I tried eventing it with touch events, but that didn't work. Ultimately, I had to tie each accidental leap of death to the jump point which required using individual switches. It's really tedious.
No crickets here! I promise! I'm really doing it!

@pianotm - You can set the terrain tag of the lava tile. You could then check to see if the player is on that terrain tag at the end of the jump event. Send them back if they are. It's less efficient, but you could also have a parallel process event that checks the player's terrain tag and sends them back if they are on the lava tile. Either way will take 3 variables and no switches.
It's all VX Ace's fault!
I'm making excuses. I just haven't had any usable idea yet, or I would have joined already.
Notice how I'm trying to very subtly suggest you might have to extend the deadline?

I was probably the guy most telling you to create a new befuddle and now I'm swamped with schoolwork. This sux T_T but I will most def have a puzzle or 2 to submit when the deadline comes. I simply can't skimp out right now.

OMG, that would make things so much more simple. I did set the terrain tag of the lava tile, but the problem is, you have to jump with a move event, and when you do that, the system doesn't read where you land. I figured that out when not even event touch would trigger the flame and transfer. Once your character lands, you have to take another step in order to trigger anything. It's okay, thanks to you I figured out another way. It's not as good as your way, but it's nowhere near as tedious.
i've been torn between a new economy sim, or something entirely different. maybe i'll do a dating show based on rmn users with a valentine's day theme

LOL I remember your puzzle from last time. It was interesting to say the least :P

FITE ME!!!
I'm working on it. Keep changing my idea on puzzle type, too. ;.; That said, maybe I'll just make two puzzles instead.
Oh man, the first Befuddle game I participate in and there's little hype :/
Still working on my second puzzle, though...

I'm doing an Escape from New York inspired puzzle. I can't decide on how to combine gathering of information and actual puzzle-solving, tho.
And I haven't made a folder fer it yet. Probably end up speeding it in last days of April.

I actually feel like there's way more hype than last time. Last time people were just like... "Meh, I'm too lazy to even play this thing", whereas this time we might even get multiple entries from one user. :S
