I hate having to use numbers in my screenname. Pianotm is unique enough that it's usually available, but on Yahoo, I have to be pianotm26 (I made the addy when I was 26 way back in 2006).
i used to go by craz33yes (crazee eyes... yeah) back on InvisionFree fan forums for Good Charlotte. GOOD TIMES (hahahahahahhasdfklsndoaunlgbwarougbl)
Well, especially when your username is suffixed by numbers, which means there are probably several of you, which means you are probably not unique.
On another note I think Ratty picked Ratty524 without there being 523 other Ratties on RMN. I think.

Numbers are pretty gross unless there is a reason behind them beyond just adding them to have an available username.
It's kinda sad that I too don't fully trust people who have usernames with numbers in them, or even think they are a legitimate human being.
I used to call out/make fun of people on WoW that had numbers in their username. Like, did you give up on trying to find a name that doesn't require 566 at the end to have a suitable name?
I'm not crazy about my own username here on RMN, the "files" bugs me seeing how Infection by itself isn't taken. :(

The 14 in my username is the age I had when I started having an e-mail account.
There! Do you trust me now? XD

Yes! that is fine :P
I've never had an username with numbers in it. Before I started using Capage and related names a had so unique derivation from my name, that I had never experienced it to be claimed.
