Why is evrything so dark? Oh no, I’ve gone blind! Wait, it’s just the screen.

Yes, Secret of Evermore is a game that deserves more love! It’s everything good about Mana, but with a plot you can actually follow and a unique magic system that I don’t think anyone has tried to duplicate yet. Plus it has a rather awesome, but under-looked soundtrack by Jeremy Soles (Aka the guy who dose the music for the Elder scrolls games).

Secret of Mana, anybody?

SoM is an awesome game. I played it all the time as a kid. I never really noticed how bad some of the dialog was at the time until I played it again recently. Still a fun game though with great music.
