Ok I’ve updated the palace. The main concern was the block slipperiness, so now all the Ice blocks and the icy blue castle blocks are slippery and everything else is normal (hopefully).
I’ve also removed to no-turn back and added water which where the other main complaints. Now I did try using Cheep Cheeps instead of the blue flames, but that resulted was the fish occasionally leaping at Mario ineffectually and dying instantly the moment they hit something. So I’m keeping the fireballs. We’ll just say there super child ’Cold fire” or some nonsense and just leave it at that.
By the way how did you guys handle the updated Babel?

Anyway I don't know how it's physically possible to be excited about new pokemon games. The series holds the unprecedented honor of being the only series in which I already was complaining that all the games were identical when the very first game was released, and it hasn't changed since.
I know what you mean, I really don't know how to feal about these games. At first I was like “a new Pokémon game already? Are they serious?”
And once again it looks like the fire stater will be the only one worth using. Hope to God it not another fire/fighting type.

Ok so I’m just about finished with my second castle and have fixed up Babel.

Is expansive too expansive?
Actually for something like this it would probably be better to have a Space Port or your Space Ship or something as a hub where all you can buy things (that changes there stock as the game progresses or you can exchange certain materials so they can be manufactured or something). It makes more sense especially if there’s a possibility of exploring any planets or moons without any sentient life on them.
Unless of course you’re going for a Star Ocean type vibe in which case the more traditional way is fine.

First off, thank you to everyone who commented on my level. It was the first thing I ever made on SMXB so I’m glad it was likeable.
With that said I wouldn’t have been surprised if it was rejected for not being castly enough, but since you Ok’ed it Isrieri I’ll go ahead and fix it up than.
So what I’ll do is get rid of the lakatu and replace it with some more parakoopers and maybe some thomps (and yes I am aware hay can be killed by shells, that’s why I did it) and reduce some of the bullet bills.
That just leaves replacing all the blocks in the second section which will be annoying but tolerable. And I might add a P block too if I can figure out what to do with it.
