Isn't the whole point of posting stuff on the internet to get bullied/destroyed with harsh criticism? Oh, fine, Nessy. If you really want me to, I'll shed a single tear just for you.

No, no! I insist! One. Single. Tear. Then it's off to use the criticism to improve my drawing.
Uhhhhhhhhhhhh... nevermind. It's an anime thing. >.>;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

Basically the Rule 63 version of a loli.

Haha I love it when you guys go so off topic. Honestly the part where you guys were talking about This War of Mine was great. It's also crazy how often these podcasts are going up. You guys are amaze.

Edit: You miss 100% of the shotas you don't take.

If you have a talent for making art...or even if you don't - hysterical.

Liberty, do you ever sleep?
Sometimes. Well, yes. Tonight though? Not yet, though I meant to. I got caught in a game. >.<;

Thank you for the Helper achievement by the way. The funny thing is, inadvertently, by giving me the achievement you've made me feel like I need to earn its worth, so your doling out of the prizes has at least an impact on your worker slaves to push them harder and produce more content.

I'm just kidding about the slave part, though, I love being a volunteer without pay, and I am totally not envious of your staff salary, and your recent promotion to the form of 300%. That does not make me jealous at all.

I don't want to sound rude or anything but I've been wanting to say this. I think it would be better if you strayed away from using "shota" and "loli" as it goes into the culture of sexually treating childhood. I haven't gotten the time to listen to this podcast yet so I don't know the exact context of the use but yeah.
It's a western thing to make it sexually attractive but we're both from the east. libby will just write a huge essay for you because I can't be bothered to give history lessons right now.
Actually, loli isn't about that at all. It was actually about denying the male gaze to those who wore the fashion. In Japan, children are not considered attractive (except to creepy fuckers, of course) and thus, as part of the movement to deny men their sexuality, teens started dressing in a fashion that was considered for young girls to wear in order to not only look pretty and express themselves, but also to stick it to the patriarchy that demanded they start dressing another way now that they were of adult age. The fashion of lolita is based around looking too young to be sexually preyed apon.

Only the Western audiences began taking it as more sexual as it was conceived to be due to their initial exposure being of young girls being put in sexual positions - because there will always be creepy fuckers.

Hentai is not supposed to be something that is viable - hence subjects like rape, torture, monster, bestiality, bondage, pedophilia and the like. It is supposed to be based around fantasy/kinks and not supposed to be based on things that you're allowed to do - it is an outlet for one's desires that are NOT ACCEPTABLE. Western audiences, however, took the sexuality from it and made it seem like a normal thing - as though it was a representation of other cultures' allowed practices. This is not the case.

The same applies to "shota" as well, right? I think I remember hearing that it's not perceived the same way in the East as it is in the West.

EDIT: This is interesting to read about - my sister recently got into lolita fashion, so I've been hearing a lot about it.
nothing is unacceptable on the internet

Okay I see where you're coming from and I did know about the origins of lolita just there has been people misusing the term in the last year or so so I've kinda been on edge around people using it.
