This is a new series of bi-monthly articles to show off the best blogs that I've seen over the course of a fortnight.

Often, when searching for a blog, article or review to show off in the What's Written spot, I'll find that there is a lot of great content on the site.
Usually I have to pick just one thing to show and I try to make choices that exclude those games which already have high traffic or aren't quite as interesting as others. This is a pity, because in the blog area, particularly, there's a lot of great stuff put out that doesn't get seen. Thus, I decided that this series of articles needed to be made.

The blogs spotlighted here will have interesting content that focuses on the game in question, will usually be longer than not and sometimes contain either graphical or video content as well as written. Some games will have multiple entries - I'll try to only show the best of the lot if there are more.

Why do you use that garbage?

Anyway, I like this idea! What made you choose the request blog over others in Pokemon RMN version? I'm sure there were better options. xD

if i had an allowance, i would give it to rmn

DIABOLICA MADE IT ON THIS LIST I'M HAPPY THANKS LIB

But really, I love this idea! I'm always submitting blogs for my game and always read the blogs of others, it's great that they're getting some spotlight! A lot of meaningful content really exists in them!
@Sated: I probably didn't make it clear enough, but if a blog is interesting yet short, it'll still count. For the 20XX, I figured that people would be interested to hear about the latest development.

@Ratty: The dates are what denote the choosing. As far as I could tell, there was only one blog for RMN Pokemon in the last 2 weeks (I went through every single blog released in that time.) Besides, I figured you could use the help with the request, too.

There's a lot of really short, vapour blogs out there and that's fine. Some are just to announce a new download, some are to ask a specific question of the fans. But I want to encourage people to make good blogs and shining a light on those great blogs with great content seemed to be a good way to do that.

Aw, that's sweet of you! Thanks for the spotlight. :)

Doctor Strange,
I've already read most of these this time around.
Should I be surprised one of Tristy's blogs are there? XD It's a good idea, though. Must be REAL hard to choose just one article to get the 'What's Written' spotlight.

I'm... somewhat surprised to see Myriad Cypher in here, actually.

I'm not used to being noticed!

Sir Redd of Novus: He who made Prayer of the Faithless that one time, and that was pretty dang rad! :D

Between this and the addition of the Latest Blogs section in the Community portal, there's a lot of exposure games are now getting. I don't know how many games I wouldn't have even heard of if it weren't for those changes. This is a really good idea!

Neither I, sempai, neither I.

Thanks Lib-sempai, and all the other sempais, for noticing me. I now feel nervous o///o. Ooooh Dreki-chan! You are gonna be happy!~♥
Awesome! Lovin' those blogs, now I know something a little more productive to do when I'm fatigued. (reading cool featured blogs)
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I would be more likely to click on more than zero of these links if you gave the blog title and category.

Isn't this already a built-in feature of RMN though, without you doing it manually? Go to the Blogs page and there's a list of Buzzing Blogs on the right-hand side.
Buzzing doesn't necessarily mean good - buzzing can be from people just talking about one little thing or anticipating a new feature in a game (Blog post: Oh hey I added that you can now run. lol - cue people and ~drama~). A lot of the good ones get over-looked, especially when it comes to games that don't look as cool or polished as others, or where the dev isn't popular.

The main reason I made this was because I go through the blogs every week. Every single one made. And I noticed that there were a fair few well-made blogs that had no posts. Or just one. In comparison to someone else's blogs which might not have been as well made, but garnered more attention. It made me a sad kitty, so this is me rectifying that a little. Also, anything that promotes fewer half-paragraph blogs is a-okay in my book. Hopefully the desire to be noticed will do that.

And, yeah, I debated about putting the blog names in there. I just wanted to get it out and see if reactions were good. I'll be sure to add them next time. >.<)b

Just looking at the current Buzzing list, there's about 3 blogs that I've pointed out posted there. The others are small paragraph blogs or announcements.
This is a great idea. I tend to only read the ones I'm already subscribed to, though I do check through the latest blogs every so often. But I imagine I've missed a lot of decent posts that way.

I mean, don't add the titles for my sake. IMO blogs should be game-specific and it doesn't make any sense to me for people to read blogs of games they're not already following. If something is worth reading to people other than followers of your game, it should be in the forums.
I already considered the titles thing, though - I decided last minute that I'd just paste the links because 'effort'. XD I'll probably use titles as links (and add dates of release, too, come to think of it) in the future because it would look better than just pasting a link.
I appreciate the effort to encourage well written blogs with plenty of content.

Can we provide suggestions.
Nope.

That is, you can provide suggestions but that doesn't mean they'll make it through. Likely I'll look at them and decide against what is already added. And I'll try to only take one or two from a game at a time if there's more.

Self-promotion will be met with straight-out rejection, though. No offence but while it's good to try and sell yourself, I don't want everyone yelling out how their stuff is better than anyone else's. That creates a toxic atmosphere of competition when the only person you should be competing against is your past self.

Frankly, I prefer to just pick them myself, since I literally see every blog that's posted on the site. >.<;;;
