Intro
Another week, another blog update. This week we had the ever so glorious first of April, and on RMN half the blogposts on that day were jokes. Some have unfortunately been taken down since then but a couple were left intact for your pleasure. The blogs run from 29.3 to 4.4.

General Interest Blogs
Calunio does the only right thing by saying what we all want to say: "Steal My Stuff". Free resources for all from Alvorada do Mal

Last week it was Feldschlacht IV (or is it VI), this week ChaosProductions returns.

There's a wall of text in the Persona: Reverse blog called FANGAMES and YOU. So obviously I had to read it because 1) Walls of text usually contain rambling truths and 2) it was about fangames. I don't agree with everything in that post (In fact there's a very specific part that is a cultural difference I believe) but like all long rambly truths it's worth a read. I guess. Maybe. I'm rambling... But is it the truth? We will never know.

Speaking of walls of texts there's this in-depth explanation of Leo & Leah with a warning at the top saying Spoilers beware. I might play Leo & Leah some time in 2012 so I only skimmed the article. But those of you who played the game you probably shouldn't miss some behind the scenes what-was-going-on-in-his-head bits.

After a bit of ruckus overnight on the forums about donations (the topic is now somewhere in the dump) Archeia_Nessiah shows her support for the donation model, though her examples of Creative Commons licenses aren't completely accurate.

The walls of text never end with this history of gamemaking by Corfaisus. I would write down and bold the title of the game but it's just so long. So long.

The angst of not being done yet plagues NicoB

April Fools
Neok provides us with a glimpse at the characters of Alter A.I.L.A. Variant

SorceressKyrsty adds two new characters to Cosplay Crisis

Beautiful Escape: Dungeoneer finally gets the sequel we've all been waiting for!

mellytan releases an open beta of Oathguard (and also mentions an elaborate thing by Neok that unfortunately is one of those lost in time)

Specific Blogs
Marrend writes a long stream-of-consciousness of what should be in Matsumori Days, giving us momentary respite from all those interviews. (I just can't stop linking to them!)

RPG Maker 20XX Engine continues updating as usualy and also provides us with a brand new release.

Things change and stay the same but change nonetheless in Americana Dawn: The Long Goodbye

Learn Japanese RPG? It is true? What I am going to work it. However, the creation seems to be doing something like that.

As everyone probably can tell I'm an old socialist so this Lost Girls map makes me happy in my pants.

Releases

Master of Souls Act II is out
Vampiros download is up

Outro
Man, I threw a lot of blogs into the general interest category this week.

A lot of blogs. Reading through it all I also seem more snarky than I've been before. This is probably just a fluke and I'll be back to my old regular self soon enough. Until next week! (I really need a nifty logo for this, maybe I'll finally do that this week)

:O I got mentioned! FINALLY, being long-winded and rambly gets me ... somewhere, i guess!

(In fact there's a very specific part that is a cultural difference I believe)

Comment! I would love to hear what you have to say.
How do you determine which blogs you are going to put in your "weekly blogs".
I go through them all and then cut out all (most) of the one-liners. Then there's also certain content I tend to not feature. (announcements of upcoming demos/releases, asking for resources/scripts/etc)

I've also noticed that I'm really bad at featuring videos. So if there's a blogpost called "New video" with the text "I made a new video showcasing x" and then there's a youtube embed I probably won't feature it. Even though I probably should since videos probably are pretty awesome. But I never watch them.

Then finally I also cut out some proper content or updates just because of personal bias. (I've noticed for example that this blog hasn't been linked to yet even though it probably would fit into specific blogs. I don't know why but I believe it has something to do with the text colour and the combination of nothing interesting. But I will freely admit that if the text colour (or the content) was different I'd probably feature it!

I guess that's some insight into my selection process :D And as always if you find some blog that I might just have overlooked because of how awesome it is always link to it in the comments.
