Description

Although the last decade saw the popularization of point and click interfaces, Clickteam products have been around much longer and as a result are the most flexible and versatile on the market.

Multimedia Fusion comes in three flavors to best suit the needs of the individual: The Games Factory, Multimedia Fusion, and Multimedia Fusion Developer. Each is increasingly more powerful, but all are able to create any genre of game desired. These programs operate in a rather unique way where all game content is created and placed in storyboard frames, and similar to Action Game Maker it is up to the developer to decide how these frames are related in terms to their project. Despite having no script editor, each Clickteam product comes with a built-in expression editor and understanding basic programming syntax is helpful.

Multimedia Fusion is likely the best point and click solution for developers who require freedom and control, however it takes a significant amount of time to master.
