** RM2k3++ is incomplete and I have no plans to finish it right now **

This patch will raise the limits on RPG Maker 2003 in a way that doesn't involve reserving variables, switches, or other resources for internal use and is compatible with existing RPG Maker 2003 games without the need to modify the game data. Modifications will be done on both RPG_RT.exe (the game engine) and RPG2003.exe (the game editer)!

Current features:
Characher base stats (Hp, Mp, Attack, Defense, Mind, Agility) can go up to 32,767.
Array sizes up to 1,000,000 elements.
Map sizes up to 5,000 x 5,000 squares.
Parallax scrolling speeds up to 31 or down to -31.
In game currency can go above 2,147,483,647.
Variables ranging from -2,147,483,647 to +2,147,483,647.
Monster Hp can be over 2,147,483,647.
Other monster stats up to 32,767.
All attribute effect ratings can range from -32767% to 32767%.
Character levels up to 32,767 (stats will reset back to 1 above level 99, use common events for growth above
level 99).
Up to 2,147,483,646 different labels can be used in a single event.
Item stack limit of 127 items.
Exp curves are more flexible and can handle up to 2,147,483,647 exp points.

RM2k3++ now has a small fix in the editor and now allows skills to be learned above level 99. Anybody using RM2k3++ should download it again if they want characters to learn skills above level 99.
I have to try this one, its looks very cool!
No high res pictures? And is this compatible with cherry's patches?

No high res pictures?quote]

This patch will not change the resolution of rm2k3 in any way, form, or shape.

This patch will not raise the picture limit to 32767 either because Cherry's Hyper Patcher 2 now does this and it would be a waste of my time to reproduce this effect.

As far as I'm aware this is compatible with Cherry's patches. I you discover problems when used with any other patches, please let me know.
I do have to ask, will there be a way to set it so that EXP can be custom-defined for characters without using the sliders? I doubt it's possible with the default system but...

Will have to give this a try though! Being able to have that much HP on a monster will make things so much better (and the stats will make things a lot more manageable too! Maybe...). A couple questions though. Do you have a choice if certain things can go above the values listed above (i.e. currency, item stack limit, etc)?

Now here's another question. It says it deals with the RPG2003.exe file specifically, which the text-line program also deals with. If I were to replace the current one I'm using that has the program with this one, would that program be lost and unable to work with this one or...? And would I have to use Cherry's DynRPG patch again after using this patch to refix it (and would it still work properly)?
I can set the character stats to 32k, but I can't give monsters more than 99999 hp in the editor. What am I doing wrong?

This will not allow exp to be custom defined.

No, but I am currently making a new utility called RM Limit Changer and this will allow a user to set his/her own limits (including those listed above). Soon it will be complete and I will release it.

I reccomend creating a backup of the original RPG2003.exe. If you try to apply the rm2k3++.exe patcher itself, you won't have to apply cherry's DynRPG patch again. As far as I am aware, DynRPG should still work with this. If it doesn't work with DynRPG, please post a comment here that says so.

RM2k3++ is incomplete. I have cancelled this project in favor of RM Limit Changer, a new utility which will allow the user to set his/her own limits to character stats, currency, exp, item stacks, etc. I will also release some tutorials on how to change some limits in the editor (including monster stat limits).

Sorry I couldn't complete this patch.
