It's RPG Maker's birthday and you're invited to join in the celebration! But how to celebrate?

Well, by showing off what we've made using the engine of course! Hey guys, it's been a while since we had a Release Something, hasn't it? ;p

The aim of this event is to release something - whether it be a game (complete or demo), trailer, fan-media, reviews, resources or blog posts! As long as whatever you release has had work on it or was created during the timeframe of the event, it'll count!

◆ Release either a new demo, completed game, trailer, fan-media, review, resource or significant update (like a blog post or series of screenshots or wips, etc) for your own/someone else's game before the end of the event!

◆ All personal releases must have had significant progress made during the event timeline and/or not have been released before (in the case of media, resources, blogs)

◆ The event starts on 16th of February, 2021 GMT.
◆ The event ends on 16th of March, 2021 GMT.

As this is the birthday of RPG Maker, games must be made in or for an RPG Maker engine.

You can release as many pieces as you want, but we highly encourage quality over quantity!

◆ Participation Prize: All participants will receive a cute badge for participating worth 50MS.

◆ Category Prizes: For each category (fan/media, game/demo, resource, update), there will be a winner based on a lottery who will win a to-be-announced prize!

◆ To join, just sign up below!
◆ To submit a game, use a gamepage download!
◆ To add fanmedia, use the event locker.
For blogposts, reviews and anything that won't inherently upload, a text file with links will suffice, if the locker doesn't work.

Have fun and Happy Game Making!

Featuring new scripts:
Since significant updates are part of the event, maybe I will release the second episode of my first game.
For now, here's a screenshot.

The TM is for Totally Magical.

For some weird reason, the sound cuts out at the end of the video. Anyway! I've made cards and made a menu. Now I need to get it to do something!

Just waiting for the queue so I can submit my thing.

Sweet Piano! You've been on a roll lately.

Also what does it meant??? Could it be the hero Ralphius?!
RPG Maker 2k/2k3 for life, baby!!
If all goes well this may force me to get off my butt and finally make a demo for a game I've been working sporadically on since 2012...

@Illy really like that orc/green dude art.

@Marrend sometime inspiration strikes while making up NPC dialogue.

@ESBY that's a glorious screenshot. Really like the use of color to draw the players attention.

@coelocanth that neo-gameboy look is mighty appealing! I love seeing those classic charsets in that look!

@CrazyBabi I like how the name in the text matches the hair :D

@pianotm woah, seems like you worked quite a bit on that.

Edit: ...and here's my screenshot!

In all fairness, bird shrapnel isn't as deadly as wood shrapnel
Y'know what? Let's try this again. I think I know just the kind of demo I wanna piece together for the event. ;)
Future Ruler of Gam Mak
Well, I'm hot off the heels of failing at the Seasons event again, but that won't stop me from giving this one a try too! :D
Believe it or not, this is made with RPG Maker XP(with an RPG Maker VXA's DLL and RPG Maker MV/MZ's art assets)
The trailer was made during the 3rd week I invade Steam which shall be qualified to this time frame.

It's a toast to those who are still using the old RPG Makers and keeping their world alive. For many years, I've seen too many people left, too many projects abandoned. This game is a memento.

I am fully capable of making games with Unreal or Unity even doing most of the works all by myself. But, I chose to bring out the old RPG Maker XP one more time for a final crusade...

Free demo coming soon on Mar. 31th.
Game coming soon in December.

They told me I was mad when I said I was going to create a spidertable. Who’s laughing now!!!
Got the beta build up for Yume Wheeky

Edit: LOL I forgot that you have to submit the thing to the event I am not good at this

Picking up a project you haven't touched in years is a daunting task...

Kinda struggling to release a demo here.

At least I'm 80% done with the title screen!

My gammak progress is going predictably slow. I now have all of three maps in this project so far. The first town, it's sewers (well, an underground, at any rate), and the world map region where the town resides. I'll want to whip up some mobs for the world map region next time I sit down to this, but, I'm kinda aiming to have another world map region, and some sub-areas for players to dungeon-delve (or what-have-you) before calling this a vaguely playable demo.

I'll also want to attach a name to this project at some point.
Havent been as productive as I'd like, but I'm still determined to get the demo done before the deadline. Luckily it wont too long (I'm estimating around 10 minutes tops), so I should be able to finish up before too long.
Is it OK to submit a .jpg file like this for the contest? (<-- Yes, this is my own illustration work.) I am thinking of drawing something like this featuring RTP characters. For example, an illustration of Ralph from VX, Eric from VX Ace, and/or Harold from MV! Would this count as a part of the "fan/media" category?
finished my review! i don't know how to submit it for the event though.

Had the same problem. The layout is not the most intuitive ever.

No, I think aquatorrent is talking about how reviews don't appear on the drop-down list, even if you do click on the "Submit" button. Like, I was curious about this, and only game downloads and media objects seem to be in the drop-down?
Indeed reviews don't appear int the submit list. How will I be able to submit a review for the event?
