Description
Hi there, welcome to another event to celebrate RMN's birthday! This year the site turns 12 years old!
You all voted and the winner of the poll was...
An abrupt ending is still an ending... of sorts. It's not as simple as shutting down the program - but is more along the lines of just cutting the story at a place where some things are rounded off but other things are still left hanging. An easy example would be if getting out of Midgar was the end of FF7 or if Chrono Trigger ended when you got back to your own time. Another example is if a game ended after the hero loses a cinematic, cannot-win battle instead of carrying on the story.
Rules
- Start making on the 8th of June
- End making at Midnight (site time) of the 16th of June
- Game must be at least 10 minutes long
- Full games only
- Any engine, any assets. If you intend to make graphics for the game, you may start now, and planning on paper outside the engine is allowed. No in-engine starting though!
- No game pages necessary. Just upload straight to the page.
- Be as silly or as serious as you like, as long as it falls within the rules of the site.
- Games must have an abrupt ending!
Prizes
- A 40 MS badge for any games that follow the above rules.
- Three random people will get to choose a game from Liberty's Humble list (there's literally hundreds...)
Uploading and Timezones
To upload to this page, sign up below. When your game is done, compress it into one file (via winrar, 7zip or engine self-compression) then hit the Submit link in the top-right of this page. Browse to find your file, then hit upload. Wait until the page redirects. Note: you can only upload 450MB of data, so please make sure that you remove any excess files.
To see when the event starts and ends in your timezone, click on your name in the black bar at the top of the page, pick Account in the top-right, then click on Settings and add your timezone offset. Save and you will note that on the event page the date/time has changed!

So uh, I just showed the game to my brother, and apparently using the knife consumes shotgun ammo.
It's past the submission deadline, so I can't update anything, but if for whatever reason anyone wants to play my weird Fallout inspired UFO horror game, I put a fixed version on my Google Drive.

Yeah, I played Pilgrim's Path and thought it was pretty cool. I liked the worldbuilding, but the combat was pretty bland.

@shydoge I love the gam! Not the jabs at the dot or player for playing the game or knowing math tho. Have a real time experience run-down.
I will say I didn't like the being yelled at as a dot : ( no be mean to dot-me, or dot, or dotts. (also OMG ... ofc... a dog.. called dot..)
The writing could be polished up some, though (at least prior to vn part, vn is paaafect).
Loving the visual novel scene .. (on to play more) Also, why is Ozzy so important in this one too? Not that I mind, just curious hehehehe. Y'all love ozzy. OMG IS THAT THE FROGGE INTRO CUT PIXELATED OZZY

Libu is the one supporting girls and lizards to rmn. Ossu is the one opposing it. Which is very coincidence of how muffles put lizards in RMN and ozzy being the antagonist.
The gay stuff is actually a hint about pride month xd, sorry I couldnt think of something better to hint it. I mean no offense to LGBT, my apologize if it sounded mean.

OMG! I discovered a HUGE bug in my game... If you play it, don't get out of the statues room before ending the puzzle, otherwise you can't go further in the game... Save before starting moving the statues too, because I forgot to make a "reset" lever... T^T

Glad you had fun with my entry (the heroes no one asked for)! Shame that you're not going to finish it off, you were at the final boss. :)
Maybe going to see about tweaking the ghost boss in the final release. Normally, silencing them makes the barrage of Sleep spells pretty manageable...But if you don't, well, even the reasonably low odds of getting hit by it can add up.
That's one thing to put on the list in addition to figuring out how to make Normal Attacks useful as well as skills...

Sorry, I suck. I disappeared for the week and I don't even have a good excuse. Got home from work, had dinner, wife said Netflix or PlayStation, evening vanished, rinse repeat. By the time my brain went "Oh shit, Abrupt Ending Party!" it was too late.
