Description
So we've played with the engine a bit and gotten used to how it works. Some of us focussed on graphics, others dabbled in eventing and plugins. Now it's time to put our experimentation to use.
Let's mak gam!
Rules
- Make and release a demo or full game by Midnight (GMT) of the 15th of November.
- Only RMMV is allowed.
- Team up as you will.
- As many as you like.
- Games must have at least 5-10 minutes of game time.
- Rips, edits, RTP and custom are all good.
- Must have the default 4 characters as your party (you may add more but those four must be playable characters).
All games must be submitted to the event page by the 15th of November, 11:59 GMT.

Upload your game file to the gamepage and then click the Submit button at the top of this page. From there you can choose the download you mean to submit.

CloseI submitted my gamepage. The stripped down project file size is 110MB. Is it just me or are these games pretty huge? The .exe itself is 50MB. :S
Soul Precipice is coming along well. I just need to map a town and 1.7 more dungeons (i've started the first of the two remaining). all my actual gameplay is still on paper though... i'm a little worried about that. hopefully it won't be too terribly rushed. still have a few hours tonight, tomorrow night, and all of saturday.
assuming the due time is in the evening, that'd be 7pm EST. that's good, i'll have some time to test the game on sunday ~

I finally finished my first cutscene! Woo! Now I just have to make literally everything else in the game. Yay...
There is an option to disable them, piano. ^^ Just deselect the Show Player Followers tab in the database.
You know what I'd like to do? I'd like to get rid of the caterpillar system. I've realized I strongly dislike caterpillar party systems. More like absolutely despise. I don't know why. I just hate the whole conga train these RPG systems have going.
Ya gotta have a file extension ending for the img tags to work, cash. Fixed it for ya. (also, *you've... ;p )
I might actually finish this one! Emphasis on the might. It's not a very conventional game. Kind of weird, kind of wacky.
And I have to finish it within 24 hours because that's when my trial expires. Eep.

they're actually 32x32 -> 48x48, so yeah, over 2x more pixels but 1.5x for mapping purposes.

i really like the overworld tiles in MV so I'm thinking of making a game which takes place entirely on the world map, with no field maps and with a really tiny worldmap. which is coincidentally a lot faster to make cause you would only make one map.
Yeah, I was really surprised with the RTP for this one. I still hate the floor tiles though.

I've never made a Fallout game. I guess you're referring to Everything Turns Gray, though. Or probably its predecessor, Vermicide, which was actually made in a day (I don't think I could do that anymore: I think I'm too old). Not every post-apocalyptic thing is Fallout. The ETG 'verse was more "The Road" than Fallout.
Anyway, present MV-Lympics status: learning if RPG Maker MV will even work on this janky laptop, wondering if anyone wants my help on their team (I probably can't finish anything by myself in the next DEAR GOD...four days??), wondering if I should bother fiddling around in the engine even if I can't finish anything just to get some exercise. Second two are obviously very dependent on the first one. If MV won't run on this lappy then I'm out of luck.
