Description

Achievements have been issued! We had a total of 61 qualified demos and completed games during June: 31 of which were submitted to this page. If you should have received an achievement but did not, please PM Deckiller!

Details on our follow-up review drive can be found here.

Overview:
As some of you may know, June is National Game Development Month (Nagademo for short), and we here at RMN want in on the festivities! It's simple: earn extra makerscore by making games this month!

At the end of the drive, we'll hold an event roundup and might (just might) have a member of staff review the completed games. This is an opportunity for your game to get some exposure!

What You Have to Do:
Step 1: Create a game page for each creation you wish to submit (if you haven't already).
Step 2: Upload your download to the game page.
Step 2: Once your game page and download have been approved, you can then submit your game download to this page to receive credit.
Important Note On Multiple Submissions: RMN's event page system only allows one download per team per event. If you have other demos and completed games during June, please PM Deckiller so that you receive your additional achievements!

Rewards:
You will receive an achievement for submitting a:
- Demo download (50 MS achievement for each game)
- Completed game download (100 MS achievement for each game)

This is your chance to rack up some serious makerscore and climb higher in the rankings! If you have a bunch of projects near completion, polish them off and submit them!

Rules:
I'm going to be quite specific here, because I don't want to see anyone get screwed. There are lots of questions and gray areas here, and I want to be as fair as possible. Therefore, we'll need a list of comprehensive ground rules.

1) Gaming the system is not allowed; ask me (Deckiller) if you have any questions or need clarification. I don't want to see you get bamboozled (or see you get frustrated if someone else tries to bamboozle us!). Here are answers to questions already asked; the following is not allowed or doesn't qualify for the achievements:
- Submitting a demo or game that was already completed before June. (Defeats the purpose! At least part of the game should be completed during the actual event :D)
- Deleting and then reposting a download. (Cheating!)
- Making updates to an already completed game, unless the updates are substantial (make sure to ask me first to see if your game is changed enough to qualify!)
- Submitting an unrealistically short demo or completed game (ask me first to see if it can qualify!).
- Releasing a single completed game in small chapters (unless there is a significant shift in playstyle, story, art, makers, etc. - again, feel free to ask me if something will qualify.)
- I may add to this list as circumstances come up or questions are asked. If you think your project falls into one of these gray areas, don't hesitate to PM me.

2) You can submit a demo or completed game download for a game you already have in development.
3) You must have a game page to receive credit for your submissions. (Obviously!)
4) There are no restrictions on game engine or graphics.
5) 5-Hour Contest games are excluded from this game drive unless they are expanded significantly.
6) Anyone listed as a developer or lead on the gamepage will get credit, as long as they actually participated in the making of the game.
7) All of RMN's normal rules apply.
8) Have fun! Use this drive as extra incentive to polish off those games! Feel free to ask Deckiller if you have and questions or need clarification!

Nice game by the way, I only played the first few minutes of your game, and got kind of confused, but it's a nice idea.
Was it the part where the spirit asks you to find something for her? I think my next upload, which will repair a couple of issues that have come up since release, I might have her give a better hint on where to start looking.

If people went back and started searching every square from the start of the game, that would REALLY kill the pacing.

Also, the Objective Marker really holds your hand in the first section. The map tells you where to go, practically step by step, until you get the first quarantine field dropped.
No, just finding out where to go, then my brother came outside and I knew he would start asking questions, and I decided to quit the game.
By the way, you really need to fix the fact that some times, it takes too long for an action to occur, I would end up trying to turn left or right, and then about 5 seconds later it's working again. And the way you get to the menu is pretty annoying as well, plus the fact of how long it took for me to open it up. I still like how you made it first person view. Nice idea there.
You seem to be the first person to have that issue with the game, so could you send me a PM telling me the clock-speed, type of graphics card, and available ram for the computer you're using? I don't want to hijack the whole NaGaDeMo thread with my entry, but I do need to know if my game his minimum system requirements higher than that of the average RM2k3 game.

If you haven't made your gamepages/submitted your downloads to your game pages, make sure you do so within the next 14 hours - otherwise, your entry won't appear on this page! You'll still get credit for the makerscore achievement, but your game won't appear on the list here on the event page.

I will be on most of the next 8-10 hours to approve game pages and downloads.
I will be uploading in a few minutes, just compiling and its taking fricking agez.

EDIT
Just in the nick of time, uploaded and submitted. Just waiting for request and acceptance. :)
Alright! It's as done as it's gonna get, but it's playable, and should keep you occupied with several hours of death, exploration, grinding, and 'puzzle solving'

It's crude and ugly, and a lot of levels lack nuance, but god dammit, it should be beatable!

Hopefully this is adequate for completed game credit. Enjoy!
Well I submitted my demo. Yes DEMO. I think I kinda fell in love with this game and want to make it as good as I can. Can't spend to much time on it, though, because I have other things to work on. I was really hoping to complete it though. Oh well a demo is better than nothing and this gives me even more time to work on it.

Edit: I put the download with the Rtp. This is my first time giving a download, so I didn't know what to do. People will still be able to play as long as they have the RTP for VX right?

Dec, did you get our demo submit?

Nothing reveals Humanity so well as the games it plays. A game of betrayal, where the most suspicious person is brutally murdered? How savage.

Alright, I submitted my demo. Does it matter if it's still pending?
I have finished my game at last, but i still need its game page and download to be approved ...please mr. admin help me through this. We are near the dead line

here is my game Shinwa Special : revenge (complete)
Combat Specialists is available for download, the download had a problem so now currently re-uploading a new download to be approved to fix the problem.

Barring any last-minute setbacks, Nagademo is set to end in 1 hour, 45 minutes! It's 6am and I'm going to bed, but Kentona is around in case you have any last-minute submissions.

If you set it up with the game compression utility of VX and had the "Include RTP" checkbox enabled, people should be able to run the game without having the RTP installed.

Yeah, but if you do that with VXA it adds 170mb, and I won't make it even with a 90mb download ;-;
I meant to say without sorry. I didn't check the box for RTP.

Then, er, no. People aren't going to be able to play it without the RTP installed. If you want to make the NaGaDeMo deadline, make a note of that on your gamepage, with a helpful link of where to get the RTP. Next demo, though, you can edit your download with a version of the game that has the RTP. At least the VX RTP isn't insanely huge like Ace's is!
