Description

Welcome to Reviewrim, the blasted lands where reviewless games roam the frozen wilds, wreaking destruction on the makerscore of hundreds.

You are the Reviewborn, a hero gifted with the power to review games, and prophesied by The Elder Scribes to be the one to assure makerscore's survival.

As Reviewborn, you shall seek out rogue reviewless games and slay them with your mighty Review Shout, an unrelenting force capable of restoring absent makerscore to the lands of Reviewrim.

In this short event, you are tasked with seeking out games with a download without a review and reviewing them. While you are not strictly required to review only games without an existing review, the intent of the event is to get those reviewless games reviews. (You can review any game, and any new review is eligible, but try to select games without a review yet). There are currently 878 games with a download without a review.

As you review games, and after the review is accepted, submit them to this event for credit. Your first review will unlock the Fus Ro Dah achievement (worth 10 makerscore). Your second review will unlock the Dawnguard achievement (15 makerscore). Your third review will unlock the Dovah achievement (20 makerscore). Your fourth review will unlock the Dragon Slayer achievement (25 makerscore). Your fifth and any additional reviews after that will unlock the Dovahkiin achievement (worth 30 makerscore).

At the end of the event, the members of RMN will be free to vote for their favorite review. The winner of this vote will receive an additional Legendary achievement (worth 100 makerscore).

For each review submitted and accepted, you will receive an entry into a raffle for a copy of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Legendary Edition via Steam. If you already own this game (or don't want it), you can opt to have a copy of RPG Maker VX Ace via Steam. If you already have that, you can have a copy of Mass Effect Collection (Mass Effect 1 + 2). If you already have that, then I have no idea. I hope it doesn't come to that...(I guess you get to tell me who to give Skyrim to, then).

Review games without reviews, get achievements, earn bonus makerscore, and get entered in a raffle for Skyrim

Starts: Now
Ends: February 10th, 2014 (evening)
Voting Ends: February 14th (morning)

Your check review is in the mail queue, Liberty!

*Edit: That was still really weird, though. Glad you figured it out as fast as you did!

Hahaha, I got another review in, just in time. Now all I need is for it to be approved. Nothing can possibly stop me now...
Damn, I got excited when I saw this, but my PC sucks and can't run skyrim :(
I didn't even notice that winning Skyrim was a possibility until after I'd already submitted my first review. I always take it for granted that I won't win raffles anyway.

I don't even know if my PC could run Skyrim or not, but if I did win, I'd take the copy of VX Ace.
It's easy. Just review WWF vs WWF and say it sucks. That's an easy Fus Ro Dah achievement and 50 MS too.
Why has no one reviewed Castles Masterpiece Set?
I signed up a few days ago. This should motivate me to write a few reviews. I always forget to write a review after I complete a game. I usually leave my thoughts in the form of a post.

I plan on writing a review for The Last Pirate Queen.

I do have one question regarding this event. If I write a review for a game that already has at least one review. Does it count as an entry for Skyrim?
I reviewed a game. I'm such a hard worker.

It’s like the forbidden fruit that no one dares to touch.

Welllll…I’m officially done now. It’s been one hell of a ride but it’s time to move on to bigger and better things, like finally getting off all of our asses and pick a winner for Game Chill 2013 already, finally!

- May the best review (just give it to Deckiller already, god damn it) prevail for that coveted Legendary badge. Of course I want it more than the rest of you - but you just never know. You just never know…

Yes. Any review is eligible regardless if that game has any previous reviews or not, but we’d still prefer if you review something that doesn’t have any reviews yet.

I've found that most people in this community avoid SMBX games like a plague.

Maybe RMN Bros got people scared of them? xD

Over-saturation, methinks. Just like VX Ace RTP.

Well that's a pathetic excuse considering I finished reviewing a SMBX game. I'd review Castles Masterpiece Set as well if I was allowed to.

Wasn't really an excuse so much as an observation.

Here are my real insights as to why SMBX games aren't popular:

- While we support games made with just about any engine, this is still an RPG Maker site. Most of the community come here to play RPGs, not platformers.

- The SMBX editor has quite a few things that isn't really intuitive with it, especially if you are transitioning from RPG Maker to this. You don't really have the same kind of flexibility with SMBX by comparison, which might be a turn-off.

- On top of that, SMBX is a VERY memory-intensive program. The only reason why I can play any level and not experience major slow-downs is because I have a darn good computer that can handle applications like this.

- Lastly, I think people don't really know about SMBX very well. It doesn't promote itself the way RPG Maker does, not by far.

Dude, you didn't need a reply for that. I wasn't being that serious. Granted, you're correct in your assumptions, I just don't think you needed to address them at me.
There, my last review is done. I'll be able to get me a Dragon Slayer badge. If it wasn't for this cold putting me out for a few days, I've had done five.
I know I'm cutting it close, but it would be awesome if you guys were able to accept my review on Wild Universe before the deadline!

Edit: Thanks! Love you guys <3
