• You can use any 2D game maker you want.
• You can use anything you want in terms of graphics.
• You cannot use any maps you are working on or have worked on, if caught you will be kicked from this competition and be disgraced forever ;D
• This has to be a Playable Map. Playable, as in uploaded for us to download and play through it. Pass ability errors matter as well as music, size, exploration, etc.
• You must also submit a description of the map. For example, just tell us what the map is or does it have a story to it, history, etc.
• This must be a single map, no more then the map itself.
• You have until February 17th. Three weeks to complete your map.
• I will be making a Gamepage with all the entries when it's all said and done. Also please post now if you guys want something added here or changed within the rules set already. PM your entries to me.
The goal is to create an immersive, inventive, enjoyable town. Now this doesn't have to follow the traditional sense. You could have a town in the sky, flooded yet still populated town, over grown town, mountain town, etc. The only limit, is your imagination(Haha fucken hell) truly.
To sign up just post below. Voting will be user voted, but with more critiquing and opinions given it's an actual map well be playing with.
The names crossed out have handed in theirs.

It's possible to simulate multiple maps with a single map. Is this allowed?
I kind of think it'd be cool if it was allowed to do interiors as well - i.e., "map a town" as opposed to "fit a town onto a map." Your contest, though; not going to push it.
@Allen Hunter - There is no restrictions on size.
@arcan - If you can do it, that's fine.
@Craze - You can if you want, but the town is still the only thing we'll be judging.
@Dyhalto - Look forward to playing it.

Aw that's too much work. I won't do it.
I'm a terrible mapper, but this seems to be the first event easy enough for me to participate in, ha. Even if I come in last, I really need to learn how to make towns. I'm in.
How much event usage is allowed? Am I going to have to add npcs?
You can do anything you want arcan, as long as it stays within the rules.Use as many events, pictures, panoramas, scripts, overlays, lighting effects, whatever!
