This thread will be used to post my Let's Try and Let's Play videos, in addition to taking requests and suggestions.

If you want to extensive updates or just want to show your support, PLEASE SUBSCRIBE TO MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL HERE.

Also, let me know I'm doing a good job and motivate me by LIKING THE VIDEOS. Every thumbs up counts!

One last important feature with my videos: IF I BEGIN ENCOUNTERING TOO MANY RANDOM BATTLES IN RPGs, I WILL DELETE THEM FROM THE VIDEO. This will both free up video space and prevent the viewer from becoming bored to death with me fighting the same monsters again and again.

Let's Try: A video playthrough of a demo/incomplete game with commentary and criticisms.

Let's Play: A video playthrough of a complete game with mainly commentary.

Let's Try: To help developers improve their game by explaining what works well and what needs improvement. Includes friendly criticism as well as my own witty commentary.

Let's Play: To entertain viewers with an extensive playthrough of popular completed games. Includes my own witty commentary.

You can make a request by leaving a comment in this thread.

Requests for LT's must be for YOUR OWN GAME.

LP requests can be for your own game or someone else's.

You can request both incomplete (your own; LT) and complete games (your own or somebody else's; LP).

Be courteous in your requests. I'm going out of my way to make these videos, so the least you can do is ask nicely.

I have the right to refuse any requests.

I'm looking for games with at least SOME SENSE OF QUALITY. This means no fan games where Cloud and Sonic team up to defeat Frieza.

While I mainly prefer RPGs, I am open to other types of games, such as horror, strategy, shooters, etc.

I'm open to playing professional games for the LP's

I prefer to play games that don't already have an LP or LT for the version released. I want to give games that haven't received video feedback priority. However, should you have a newer version (i.e. new content, not just bug fixes) that hasn't been LP/LTed, I might be willing to give it a go (or you are just really dying for me to play it for some reason).

I may have to stop taking requests if the To-Do List becomes too full.

You were right about LT's dying off with YDS' departure, which is too bad, 'cuz I still think they're an excellent form of feedback. If I had a game worth LTing, I'd make a request, but sadly (for the moment) no.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure you need stereo mix on to record both your voice and the sounds in-game. I don't know much about it, though, so you should probably look it up. Or maybe someone else knows!

Aye, Stereo Mix has to be on for both voice and sounds in-game. Though whether or not you can adjust the volume of RPG Maker yourself is another story if you're not on Windows 7...if it's not Stereo Mix well...might be a setting in your recording program that you're using.

I only know about Stereo Mix as my computer randomly turns it off during recording sessions from a program that I sometimes use...

Tickle me weird, but I really enjoy listening and watching these Let's Try, even though I really haven't spoken out too much to the people who do the videos to let them know I watch them. Except now. So, what I am trying to say in my pointless rambling, if you keep doing them, I'll keep watching them.

Also, I don't know if it was me or not, but the last little bit of your video began to lag, the part at: "Ah, balls. I can't save anywhere."

For your first ever video, that was really good. You seemed quite natural to me, and I was entertained throughout the entire video.

I once did a Let's Try for The Realms Shattered, and it was so god damn awful and akward, I removed it with shame about three days later, and I felt quite embarrassed about the whole process (waited until everyone left the house and everything) Trust me, yours is no way near the level of terrible mine was at.

That's good, I'm glad someone liked it. ^ ^ I'm always so weirded out when I hear my voice, it always sounds so much deeper and more monotone than I realize. I sound like a damn robot! >_< I kind of dicked around too much though in this first one, rather than making any real progress.

I believe I have Stereo Mix on. I can see the volume and can control it, and it's got a big check next to it, so it seems to be on. Not sure what I'm doing wrong....

I'm using Hyper Cam 2. I couldn't get FRAPS to work very well.

Hm...I know nothing about Hyper Cam 2. I would recommend something like Camstudio but I think Camstudio and RPG Maker don't like to work very well (it lags a bit with 2K3 and with recordings with that). Not sure what to tell you on that bit @_@

Camtasia works fine with when I record 2k3/vx/xp/vxa so I guess that's a PC thing? :o

Eh there's a difference between Camtasia Studio and Camstudio...Camtasia, by the way, is of course more superior.

@Xenomic: In Camstudio's case, besides the PC, it can be the codec you're using. Oh, and Camtasia isn't free though...

I HAD Camtasia at one point, but then lost it due to my Great Computer Restore...I use XVid Codec so there's that. I've been recommended Camtasia but x_x;;

This computer isn't exactly the best either, but it gets the job done (yay for 420 something MB RAM!).

Alright guys, I've finished part two and three. In part two, I screwed up with the sound and music again (despite what I say in the video), but I get it right in part three. I'm doing some more of these today, so expect more videos soon. ^ ^
