well, now I know what to listen while I study :D
I'll be getting my hands dirty on Monday with this >:3
isn't that wired that hyde always set all of his song Commercial use? but when I check the license in sound cloud it was set in non-commercial use?
Or too lazy to set individual song in their proper CC license?
oh and also http://rpgmaker.net/musicpack link broke!

http://rpgmaker.net/events/rmn_music_pack/

We're using the same licence model for the entire album and it's been written in the event guidelines.

And yeah, the music pack page isn't up yet, but should be soon!
So many composers. :O
Is someone going to use these musics in their games?

The whole music pack will be hosted in RMN for everyone to download and use for free in their non-commercial projects!
Kunsel's "Run!" is great, even though it seems to me to be arrangement of Final Fantasy IX's "City Under Siege".
(Ignore all comments below about looping if it is soundcloud that is making the end of a lot of songs quiet to show the difference between songs.)

Town of Wishes: 3.8/5
Resonant Hope, Ignited Wills: 4.3/5
Buy!, Buy!, Buy!: 2/5 (I'm deaf, so not the best judge of this, but it sounded too similar to vocals even if it weren't vocals. Not suitable enough for RPG Maker.)
Caverns: 3/5 (Hard to tell whether it'd be used in a scary or light-hearted dungeon, as it borders on the two, but more on the dark side. Plus, the loud bang doesn't really help in terms of song consistency.)
Port Town: 3.2/5 (Reminds me of the default, but aims toward the right place.)
Evil Approaches: 2/5
A Place With No Water: 3.4/5
Puzzles: 2.3/5
Peaceful Soul: 3.4/5
Brazen: 4.4/5 (A battle theme? Could be sped up if so, but if not and it is more for dramatic situations e.g. a meeting with the King and bad guys, then it's good as it is. I might use this if it goes into the set! Could do with looping ability though.)
Enjoy the Life: 3.6 (Good travel theme. Just a bit repetitive. Needs loop.)
The Ritual: 3.9 (Ooh, a church theme!)
Festival: 2.3/5 (Remove the slowness at the start and it'll be 4/5 :) )
Hamlet: 3.4/5
Peaceful Moment: 1.5/5 (far too many pauses, sorry!)
Run!: 3.9/5 (Mysteriously cuts to what seems to be a new song that doesn't fit? First bit was good.)
Mellow Darkness: 3.8/5
Circle of Light: 3.2/5
Tranquil Town: 4.7/5
Cool Island Breeze: 4.8/5
Fisherman's Prayer: 2.9/5
Poem for the Different Future: 3.5/5
Composed Malevolence: 4.2/5
Victory Theme: 4.7/5
Desert Crossing: 4.8/5
Smalltalk: 3.2/5
Valiance: 3.6/5
Joyful Ocean: 4.1/5
A Day's Rest: 3.7/5
Cool Stuff: 2.4/5
Midnight Serenade: 2.3/5
Pull up a Chair: 3.2/5
Enspiron: 4.1/5
Visionary Villain: 3.5/5
Royalty of Sin: 3.9/5
Center of the Galaxy: 4.3/5

Now that's done, I'll vote in the poll!

The music pack page is finally up and you may now download the album! :)

http://rpgmaker.net/musicpack/

@Hotfirelegend: Every song of the music pack will loop non-stop in your game if you download the OGG version of the album.
That's a lot of songs :o

This will take a while...

It sounds more like an arrangement of track from Final Fantasy IX by the same name: "Run!".

Yeah, I'm a huge fan of Nobuo Uematsu, and this song has the same theme that I was going for. I guess some of Uematsu-san's influence bled into my song by mistake, but I can guarantee that the song is original and I was not trying to arrange the FF IX "Run!"

All-round this is a great music pack! Not a single mediocre composition.

And some pieces are darn good!

Great work, people!
To clear up some questions, all of my works are available to be used commercially. I see that they were posted under a basic license that covers the entire RMN Music Pack, so I thought I would let everyone know that it is okay to use my stuff commercially.

And btw, I am getting good reviews and even some favorites? Oh good lord, I feel so honored. Thank you guys so much! :)
Because I have delusions of grandeur and self-importance, I thought I'd comment on all the songs.

Town of Wishes - The water influence is obvious. This would fit well in a river village, and even better in a Venice-like city.
Resonant Hopes Ignited Wills - This is a pleasure to listen to
Buy! Buy! Buy! - The quirky merchant found in dungeons or summoned by an item has found his theme
Caverns - A good cave theme. These are hard to come by
Port Town - Sounds exactly as the name implies
Evil Approaches - Sorry. Not feeling it.
A Place With No Water - Pretty good. Desert music is tough to do.
Puzzles - Block pushing, yo. Lolo would be proud.
Peaceful Soul - Excellent ;-; Makes me feel all innery and shit
Brazen - Bad Guyz! A great theme for them
Enjoy the Life - It's good music, but I have a hard time envisioning a scenario to use it in. Harvest Moon, maybe?
The Ritual - Holy shit ._. Phenomenal

Festival - Why do I get a Chrono Trigger millenial fair vibe?
Hamlet - Slick. I like it :D
Peaceful Moment - Sounds exactly as the name implies
Run! - Pretty good, but it's not as urgent as I'd expect
Mellow Darkness - Definitely has the mellow and the darkness
Circle of Light - Good and useful, but somehow, forgettable :(
Tranquil Town - Upbeat as hell :O Not just for towns anymore
Cool Island Breeze - It feels less cool island and more general cool. Like Johnny C Badd just walked into town
Fisherman's Prayer - hmm... just doesn't seem to go anywhere
Poem for the Different Future - I can't get into it :(
Composed Malevolence - While a good song, I have a hard time placing it into an imaginary RM game. Maybe a Castlevania-ish level?
Victory Theme - Does the job ;D

Desert Crossing - Does the job, but isn't very memorable
Smalltalk - Lands somewhere between pub music and private eye music. Pretty good
Valiance - Good battle theme. Surprised there aren't more
Joyful Ocean - Music for those rare times when the heroes go to sea and aren't immediately accosted by a kraken
A Day's Rest - I genuinely like this. I'll probably even use it at some point ;o
Cool Stuff - A spiritual partner to Smalltalk, vibe-wise
Midnight Serenade - It's good. Not much else to say
Pull Up A Chair - The red light district gets a theme song
Enspiron - Great stuff
Visionary Villain - Villainy!
Royalty of Sin - More villainy music
Center of the Galaxy - I couldn't think of a more fitting name myself. Perfect for those 'out there' areas

I'm still deliberating on the final vote. Too hard to pick just one.
There's not a single sub-standard track here. Every thing is damn high quality.
TBH I expected at least one turd in the punchbowl
Just out of interest, Happy, just how many minutes of audio are there in this thing? It's way bigger than I was expecting when it started. =D
Took a while to listen to each one...

But really an amazing music pack and I like the songs :)

Very hard to pick an artist who deserves this because all of them deserve it :D

The MP3 version of the music pack is 95 minutes, though that doesn't exclude the repetition in the material. None the less, the results are much greater than I could have anticipated! Splendid job everyone!

Also, the winner of the Judges' Pick award will be revealed soon!
