Perhaps I should clarify. There's going to be limited battles. Like, monsters will be roaming on the map, and if you kill one, it's dead for good.

So fighting is a matter of weighing the decision to conserve limited resources, or taking a chance and spending some of them to increase your overall survivability.

Overall, the increases in HP are tied to the notion of "progress" on the mission.
games with a hard, finite number of fights have been really interesting to me lately. it's a bit of a balancing act, but I think I'd like to see how that goes.

you're just gonna LOVE my poorly randomized game for the weekend event. also play all my other games for something more polished that fits what you're talking about =P
