PUZZLE THREAD
Posts
author=oddRABBITThis one is more fun if you tell it in person, and then ask "How many stops did the bus make?"
You are driving a bus
There are ten people on it
At the first stop, 3 people get off, and 4 get on
At the second stop, 2 people get off, and 1 gets on
At the third stop, 5 people get off, and 7 get on
At the fourth stop, 1 person gets off, and 2 get on
At the fifth stop, 5 people get off, and 3 get on
At the sixth stop, 2 people get off, and 6 get on
How old is the bus driver? If no one can solve this, I will lose all my faith in humanity. It's that easy. Especially as it is written out.
E: and say "the next stop" instead of "fourth, fifth, sixth, etc.. stop", obviously.
Bumping this thread.
I have a chin, a mouth, a nose, unblinking eyes, and metal feathers. What am I?

The answer is 16 years old! :D

Very weird looking... Or um... A watch? A metal bird's head?

Nope.

Nothing reveals Humanity so well as the games it plays. A game of betrayal, where the most suspicious person is brutally murdered? How savage.

The only thing I can think of is an airplane, but that doesn't really have a chin, eyes or a mouth.
A Skarmory would also work, but I'm pretty sure a pokémon isn't the answer to this riddle. XD

Caribou don't have feathers
E:
to be clear, it's an American quarter coin. The people struggling with the puzzle are from England, Netherlands and Canada.

Oh, a coin. I guess that would have made sense if I were American. XD
Ah, yes. Kentona is correct. I suppose I should have taken into account the different currencies of other countries.

I still use coins...
Hey, same here!

I have coins in my wallet as well, but I'd rather get rid of them as soon as possible. The bills as well. Almost everything can be paid by debit card here, so cash in general is just a thing of the past.
I have a coin-related puzzle.
So I have some coins in my wallet. If I count up everything in my wallet, I have $1.36. I have three coins. What are they?

Right, because the remaining dollar is a bill, so not a coin.
Let's not have these currency questions anymore. For instance, this question would make no sense in euros, as there are 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 cent coins, 1, 2 euro coins, and 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 euro bills. There are no quarters, making this question impossible.
Let's try sticking to puzzles that translate well internationally.
