Hello!
You may have already had these requests, but there's a couple of things i'm used to on other forums that I haven't fond here..

Now we all love attaching images to our forum posts via that little image button, and videos with the youtube button, But what about a soundcloud button?
Not sure if it's possible to add, but us musicians would like a link! :D

Secondly, it may seem quite stupid, but wouldn't it make more sense to have the "New Topic" and "New Poll" button above the topics?
I mean, maybe as well as, not instead, but scrolling down to post a topic can be a little irritating at times..

I hope you don't mind my feedback,

Dave.

Actually if you read the "New to RM?" article (http://rpgmaker.net/articles/235/) you'll find that there are two options for embedding audio in the forum, these are:
[mp3=url]mp3 description[/mp3] - The path to the MP3 file goes inside the tag after the =

Which results in this:

And you're in luck! The second option, though clunky, it's Soundcloud.

On SoundCloud, go to the track's page, then click Share, then select Embed, copy the URL
ie:
<iframe width="100%" height="450" scrolling="no" frameborder="no" src="https://w.soundcloud.com/player/?url=https%3A//api.soundcloud.com/tracks/219345703&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;show_comments=true&amp;show_user=true&amp;show_reposts=false&amp;visual=true"></iframe>

You see this section:
url=https%3A//api.soundcloud.com/tracks/219345703

Copy this track ID, and put them in soundcloud tags:
[soundcloud]80463690[/soundcloud]

Which results in this:

I don't know about the rest of your suggestions because i'm not part of the staff, you'll have to wait for a response.
I'm not sure how viable the second option is, but I've learned to just hit End when I want to get to the bottom of the page so that might help.

Mirak has you covered when in comes to soundcloud and mp3s in general, though. (I believe the mp3 tags can be used with ogg files too, but don't quote me on that.)
