For those who don't know, this is the sequel to Earthbound on the SNES.

This game has the smoothest battle theme ever. I actually caught myself doing the head/hand motion thing a few times.

The Lennus 2 translation is done too, for the 3 people who care.
Really? I really don't know why the original (that'd be Paladin's Quest, everyone) got knocked so hard in the SNES days. Between this and Mother 3, this ought to be a fun fall/winter season. I'm not really into Persona.

To different degrees. The island gets shitted on, the villagers become different, the whole "feel" of the island changes...
Wait until you reach the ending. :(

Ok umm.. I just met the Magypsies. Didn't really see that one coming. Bunch of people standin around with facial hair in dresses with hearts at the end of their sentences. Haha.. it was an odd experience. Other than that this game is way better than how I expected it. I love the dark storyline so far.
EDIT: Now I'm in a dark cave with an old man calling me Flinty-pie <3 and telling me to loosen up... uhh I don't see this ending well..

I beat Mother 3 just before the patch came out and I'm going through again on my DS with the patch. Still can't get more than 2 combos in. D:
