So, after my joke game that I threw together in a day or two (Default Bravely) was immediately accepted on this site, my serious project was first rejected because I didn't have a plot synopsis, then it was rejected because I had too high resolution pictures, and then it was left on pending for over a week. I'm not complaining. I'm just pointing out that it's kind of funny.

So I'm just going to host this biz myself.

Description:
Lay of Eddais is a cinematic and interactive short story that falls somewhere closer to the dark fantasy genre but in the horror spectrum of RPG Maker genre gameplay.

You will play as Eddais, Prince of Wednesbury, who after having witnessed the sacking of a cathedral in his homeland by Vikings, the murder of everyone he loved, including his betrothed, Aelithia, is now the sole survivor of the incident.

Choose to put your points in Athletics, Perception, or Survival, skills which will allow you to explore Leigham Meadows, to reach the grave of your beloved Aelithia, and find either peace or not with death in the end.

This menu-less, combat-less game features a HUD, full control of item use from the keyboard, a torchlight system, a smart jumping system, and an herb gathering system, an on screen die roll, Dungeons and Dragons-like ability checks, a dark ambient and dungeon synth sound track, and more.

While the game emphasizes writing and over all aims to tell its story, it does so while allowing the player to interact with the world that is brought to life in bursts of cutscene. Most objects in the world respond with text when explored, and puzzles, secrets, and the lore of the old gods remain to be found in the depths of the Wednesbury Tunnels.

I can understand that you're impatient with these delays, however, when it comes to advertising your game and asking for testers, you need to do these things on your gamepage rather than in the main forum. (You can alternately request a review here, but you'll also need to have an accepted gamepage)

What Uni said, plus for testing, there are some threads for that I think? Like a "pls test my game" thread? Usually people use their Gamepage to ask for tests.

And yes, sometimes the queue takes a little while, just wait, it will go through.

I'm locking this for now. Please ask again on your gamepage, when your gamepage is accepted.
I'll be doing the queue tomorrow. Your game might or might not make it through, depending on whether it meets the requirements. I wouldn't know yet, as I haven't checked it yet. If you fixed what you were asked to, however, it probably will.

In future, feel free to PM me if your game seems to have sat for a while as we do not allow advertising of games in the forums themselves. It can take a little longer than a week if I've been especially busy (which I have this past week. Not really something that happens to me too often but I got seriously piled on this week. You'll just have to be patient, sorry.)

Besides, games that ping in and out of the queue at a fast rate tend to sit a little on the sidelines if the creator keeps resubmitting. Not sure that that's what was happening with your game (I don't look at names of people when doing the queue because it doesn't matter who the submitter is, they get judged the same way) but we'll see tomorrow.
