Certain game's dialogue impossible to read Topic

I'm not sure if this goes here.
I'm trying to play Space Funeral and other RPG Maker games and for some reason, I get this weird font for the dialogue that is nearly impossible to read.
It's this weird poorly spaced font where some of the letters blend together.
How can I change this?? It's happening with Yume Nikki, Space Funeral, and many others.

Games made with the original RPG Maker 2000 & 2003 (called RPG Tsukuru on this site) have problems with drawing the font so the spacing gets all messed up. One fix is to download fixed font files and copy them into your C:\Windows\Fonts folder.

e: I should say, the only fix that I know of is to download the fixed fonts
