I'm playing this rpgmaker 2000 game, and I want to access the graphics/pictures outside of playing. They seem to be in .xyz format. How can I convert them to commonly used file formats like .png and .jpeg? I tried googling really hard, and no obvious solutions were found. Thanks!

If you have RPGmaker 2000 or RPGmaker 2003 you can use the Resource Manager to export them as .png files.
Try using this: https://rpgmaker.net/users/Mirak/locker/ImageConverter_PNG_TO_XYZ.exe
I've used it to turn png's to xyz, but you can do the opposite as well.

Hello,
You just have to drag and drop the file(s) you want to convert and click on "Start Conversion". You have options for filesize for both png and xyz.
