I am basically wanting to find games like zelda but actually don't play as zelda isn't got any zelda like in it but has the fun idea of zelda like the hack n slash etc and the same dungeon concepts
First, are you talking about games on this site and/or commercial ones?
Second, are we talking about 2d or 3d Zelda style?

If you mean 2d, Hyper Light Drifter was the most prominent example I remember from recent years. You probably would've heard about that one though^^
3d well.. not 100% the same, but Mushroom Men is always a joy, was on Wii tho. Okami is also pretty neat.
It's a bit old, but there's always Star Fox Adventures.

https://rpgmaker.net/games/778/ Fey is the only action/zelda one I ever liked, mainly for the world/presentation.

Yeah MKnance, there aren't many action rpgs made in rpgmaker2000/2003 cause, generally rpgmaker isn't really built for action rpgs.

But, check out, Lands of Lunori (2008):

it was an action rpg made in rpgmaker2003 back in 2008-ish. Very cool idea, Very cool story, the game is very buggy though and it's only a demo.

But also check out Fey,(2011-2014)

Fey is a decent zelda-ish, action rpg made in 2011-2014, that works to rpgmaker2003's strength.
You have a front and horizontal slash, you can run over fences and obstacles. It also has a lot of Resident Evil 4-ish, quick time events. It just feels really great to play for an rpgmaker2003 game.

It also has this very very cool continue mode where, whenever you run out of HP, instead of dying, a countdown starts and you have to mash Z to keep your player awake. Once you're fully awake again, you can continue the game exactly where you died, without having to restart from you last save. But you should use this sparingly though, because it gets harder and harder to wake up the more times you use it.

Definitely check out Fey.
Nobody has said Darksiders so ill have to come out and say Darksiders 1 & 2 are both great Zelda style titles, 2 even exceeds a lot of the classic 3D Zeldas in some areas.

As for RPGM Zelda games, I have tried a few but none had overly good game feel, to me anyway.
