Preface

This category is lacking in the recent years of various platforms, also, its a pretty good genre (dystopia) ::::::here is a description:::::::::"atmospheric, hi-fantasy, outcast hero, doom prophecy, war crisis, end of species, end of way of life"

Know anymore like these, 12 to 15 hour or greater, not a lot of console game music, not a lot of rtp content (if rtp content is used, its effectively used)

Legend of Mysteria
The World of Labyrinths
Labyronia 2
Labyronia Elements
Advent
(the above games were originally free, then released on steam, then "advent", was re-released as free)(that should be right)
...............
Castle Oblivion 1,2,3
Feral Dreams 1,2
Manifest 5
Militibus Elementis Arc 1,2
North Wall 1.01
Primeforce 1,2
Shadows of the Cross
Shattered Hourglass
Transcendence Legacy
Umbral Soul
....................
about 10 hours

Soul Flowers
Zangia's Legend
Visions and Voices

I'd give all the above games a 9 or 10
You have Feral dreams in your list, then you really should have Passage of the hollow mooon too. If you like Advent, the developer has made at least two more games.
Are you looking for good games, just check around here in RMN. Epic Odyssey maybe fits in your list ?

Took a Break from RPG Maker, or PC Gaming Period, until a few weeks ago.

"Steam" as a streaming feature, also you can add your own games to stream, that means rpg maker games, fan made, and purchases.................to the raspberry pi 4, versus using the hdmi cable from pc to tv for convience.
............
............
"The Pale City"
"Atonement Scourge of Time 1 and 2"
"Rogue Port Red Nightmare"

Those were from steam, but really cheap they were on sale
............
............
Thanks for the Suggestion:
"Passage of the Hollow Moon"
............
............
I'm Redoing my setup, (installed games, shortcuts, then using steam app adding those games.........versus having my own shortcuts and stuff)
............
............
Some of those games don't belong on the list from my OP.
............
............
I'm only a fan of rpg maker, for that genre, don't care about the rest............unfortunately some games try to sell that genre and then "bait and switch" like "astoria" and "path of the martyrs"............for those games I would have to play more in game, but I think they are fakes.

Since I'd be'en away, some new releases came out but something like a pandemic/coronavirus basically kills off the genre i'm interested in specifically with rpg maker.

btw

10 to 12 or 15 hours, really they should be considered 20 hours.............just a note, those ratings may be based on using gameplay guides.......for the few I did play, rated for 10 hours that was exceeded, with no gameplay guide.

New List***
Labyronia Series 1/2/3 (Excluding "Mysteria", and "Nerubis")
Feral Dreams 1 and 2
Castle Oblivion Remake and Castle Oblivion 3 (Excluding Original 1 and 2)
North Wall
Passage of the Hollow Moon
Advent (see NOTE)****Game Bug maybe fixed on the "free" steam version
Primeforce 1 and 2
Militibus Elementis Arc 1,2
Transcendence Legacy
The Pale City
Atonement Scourge of Time 1 and 2
Manifest
(advent and manifest are just lower quality, enjoyable games)
(labyronia 1 was remade, the un-remade version, seems more true to the game's theme)

(Excluding ....spam series based off labyronia series? "Lost in Fantasy", if it didn't seem to be full of spoilers for labyronia............)
(Seems to Contain a lot of Comedy/Sensual Elements not Advertised? These are at least worth playing if you like the ones listed above) (Unfortunately if Sensual/Romantic Elements are used, they always seem to be tied to Comedy.....just is the low degree of people they may want to appeal to, everyone else has to bare that or ignore it)
Umbral Soul
Story of Integra
The God Slayer
Dark Eternal 1 Dissolution
Dark Eternal 2
Shattered Hourglass (probably doesn't belong on list, story and context fits)
Rogue Port Red Nightmare

****"Advent" .... game breaking bug, locked out of the mines, if you first visit the mine outside the guy will open the door when you talk to him, but if you leave the area and try to come back, your locked out permanently!!!!!!!! (if you just take a peak in that area, and try to leave, without talking to the guy near the mine entrance, you may also be permanently locked out .... (I saved the game after that not knowing about the bug sadly)

seems like you prefer standard rpgs with longer hours. Since have combed this entire site i got some for you:

Project Fire (steam has this)
Legionwood (steam has this and its paid sequels)
Wines & Roses (similar to Visions and Voices)
Tod (i did not play the post-game but i've been told it's much longer than the main game)
Dream Drift (plot will be massively confusing but its a finished game and can go several hours)
The Lore of Lorewyn
Lost Land: Ruin
Tribal: The Awakening
The Book of Monsters
White Pearl (this is on steam)
Legends of Illarion 2
Geiken (this is a very long ARPG)
The Contract: Truth (english grammar is lacking, but i like games like this)
Epic Odyssey (kenlan recommended this and i do too, but be careful, enemies level up with you in this game)
Mokensen: The Swordsman (not a long one)
Demon Hunter
Linus: The Forgotten Days (shorter and story heavy)

disclaimer: I dont remember all these games exactly so some of them may not be completely on spot as 'dystopic'
(For Example)

(The Origional "Labyronia" Game, some of the final bosses, imply, a "person with an evil spirit" ...... and therefore you are committing murder in the context of the game............where as the "Labyronia Remake"...........the graphic on the final bosses were changed, to remove that notion, and it simply seems like a supernatural force or forces you are fighting)

(Following that Example)

(Chrono Trigger - Snes Remake .......... the palette changes make the movement of the earlier boss forms that resemble a person, that would look like a "moon walk" much less obvious ........... probably for the same reason, the "issue of committing murder" .......... may just be a christian or a western issue ........ but the game was clearly not very well reproduced)

(Heroes of Legionwood .... thats on my steam wishlist .... the other two "Legionwood" games, on is completely free on steam ....... I will have to play a few hours into it, its not readily clear its the same theme, not to mention I have a few games I will probably play before that........don't want to get bored with rpg maker, too soon)
........
........
(thats just the way the subject matter, either, "dystopia", or "doom prophecy" works, sometimes it is a glorified observation of murder, or someone deceived into believing they are doing the right thing, then they are just a filthy person and pleasure driven) (which is funny to think about, all the games I may of listed fall into that theme) (as a description of western culture, then we see those edits in the remakes, unfortunately)

There are definitely some goodies in that list you gave............going through everthing now, yes there's a steam sale december 22nd, not related. Should be finished organizing other things too!

(in Labyronia 1 - You are the Murderer, and that is Revealed, but much earlier on in the game you are given the impression, so its not a spoiler.......with a few small changes in the remake, its harder to make that association)

(in Labyronia 2 - Your trying to reclaim your morality, which it isn't a surprise to that you fall short and just don't get that lol, no spoiler at all)

(in Labyronia 3 - You are the Victim, period. Victimization is both your weakness and your ultimate defense, again no spoiler)

(if you go on "steam" and read their notes, you will notice the developer refused to make any changes the people wanted, so they did make a note, the developer was not cooperating in the right way............its because of the western culture that is implied, no other reason..........if you read the comments from the people reviewing that, yes, I'd say, they refer to these statements in a roundabout way, and give good reviews!!!)
...........
...........
"Mokensen: The Swordsman" - will have to add that to my list

(in "Legend of Mysteria" - Your really a homeless person, I can see the pun there (if the first act of murder is sympathy), but, didn't have the "sense of desperation" the other games in the series had)

(in "Labyronia Nerubis" - Your really a politician, you gave up on life and have a sick mind.......the author apparently believes the theme of the game is more important then gameplay, so the first and last games of the series, I wouldn't enjoy at all)

The best game I can offer is Othello:

https://rpgmaker.net/games/8114/
"Othello" ----- In a small feudal Japanese era town lives a girl named Othello. Being born a woman in a lower status family has lead to many hardships in Othello's life. Her father is constantly abusive and not all of the villagers treat Othello with respect. Is Othello destined to live out her days in this village as a lowly Betel Nut girl? Or is there a greater destiny awaiting her.

Othello is a story about a young woman overcoming the restraints of her oppressive society. Othello finds an inner strength in her and uses her sword to seek out justice in a world filled with injustice.
..........
..........
star betelgeuse that shrunk in Orion........and the Goddess "Nut".........humanity did not make the cut, in terms of its sin, either "dead flesh", or "total action"...........right now satan is giving god the glory, that probably won't last long. (flight 370 missing, the wuhan virus, korea nuclear crisis, and there is more to be seen on those faucets i'm sure, the third antichrist of nostradamus, many believe comes out of asia or is an asian male).
..........
..........
Many people don't know that the game "Citizens of Earth" which appeared to feature a picture of "Donald Trump" on the game's cover..............!.Allowed you to cheat in the game with one of the characters offering stat boost, but, even if you cheated, the levels you gained wouldn't stack properly............you would still have to try other characters and etc................everything is resolved this holiday season!!!!!!! (especially with prophecies)
..........
..........
I'd say "Othello" the game is worth looking into, speaking of which:::::::::

like "Primeforce1" on my OP list, it does feature final fantasy graphics, but the real issue is gameplay and story, "othello" will be added to my list, some games take a few hours to see if they really fall into "dystopia", or, "doom prohpecy" category.
