[RMMZ] WORLD MAP DEATH SPRITES

Is there some way I can change a character's world map sprite if they're currently dead? I just find it visually displeasing that characters still use their usual walking animations, even when they're supposed to be, well, dead...

You could probably use an event command to change their sprite. I forget what, exactly the event-command is called, but, I'm envisioning a common event gets called after each combat, or resting at an inn to change the actor's sprite in accordance to whither or not they are dead.

That said, I know I had a system in place that kept track of character death, in a shop-scene for an Ace game, but, that was more related to plot-related death than random encounter death. Also, I dropped that entirely at some point, so I don't have that code anymore.
