Playing Star Wars Jedi Academy after winning the May 4th raffle.
I remember having fun with its multiplayer as a young teen, but damn, the collision detection of your lightsaber is baaaad. Fortunately, the game seems to be relatively easy enough for me to get through without too many problems. Maybe because the A.I. is a bit on the dumb side.

I backed Tesla Effect, the new Tex Murphy game (Under a Killing Moon, Pandora Directive, etc.), so I just got my Steam code via e-mail. I cannot wait to go home and fire it up.
DmC: Devil May Cry. I'd already beaten it a couple times, but I just upgraded my monitor into a shiny new 24" LED TV. My laptop has a subpar Intel HD4000, so I was curious to see how much of a performance hit my games would take running them at full resolution. Pretty impressed to see that I can almost max DmC on a 24" while still running extremely smooth.
I've been playing Star Trek Online lately after everyone I went to TESO with had stopped playing for various reasons. Star Trek Online has extremely mediocre ground combat, but the space combat? So much fun!
Mainly League of Legends. Other than that MOBA, I'm fiddling with Pokemon X, Soul Calibur - Lost swords and Final Fantasy - Lightning Returns.
I've been having a blast playing Castlevania: Symphony of the night 2!!! a.k.a. Harmony of dissonance. Symphony of the night is one game I could play over and over and over again no matter how many times Konami sells it to me dressed up as a completely new game. (I just wish these games had stories worth giving a damn about, though). =P
One thing I like about this particular version is that it is fast from the beginning. You can dash left or right in not time and cover a lot of ground that way. In other games you have to wait until the mid-to-late game to get an item/spell/whatever that let's you run. Until that point, you have to slug through the game. UGH! ...I think I'll attempt a low-level speed-run the next time I play this game.
But now I'll go play Circle of the moon again. In wich you have to double-tap in one direction to run a bit faster than you can walk. *sigh*

Jade Empire: Special Edition for PC.
I started it up for the first time in a long time and loaded my save, which happened to be on Jade Master(essentially a New Game+ mode). Getting my ass handed to me because I'm once again inexperienced, and in Jade Master mode you do 25% of your normal damage while the enemies do 350% of their normal damage.

adsfhjfdsahkfsdhkasdhkfdskhfsd you stopped my heart for a second
Aaaaaand I just reached Chapter 5 of Bravely Default.
I'm confused.
Like what the hell just happened.
Edit: Well, I broke a crystal. And uh, stuff happened. That stuff answered some of my questions but... kinda also raised more questions. (more on that in the spoiler)

Like, uh.... alternate dimensions? Ouroboros? What was Airy talking about?!? I guess I'll just have to find out by playing some more...
I have been lately playing Dragon Quest VIII.
If I had known that game was SO great I would have played it before.
Right now I think I'm getting closer to the ending...

Just started playing Klonoa: Door to Phantomile on my PSOne emulator.
Holy shit it's good. It may look like mainstream kiddy platformer on the package, but it's actually legitimately challenging, rewards you for your intuition, and is just full of charm, which I absolutely love with any platformer.
I'm also surprised by how much depth there is to its story, compared to most other platformers I've played, that is.

The game took on a pretty dark tone once the main villain's henchman, Joka, killed Klonoa's grandfather. It was pretty gut-wrenching to watch.
Legend of the Dragoon, for the first time! Oh my goooood it is fucking hilarious. I am having such a good time. <3 I tried to play it ages back, but I didn't get very far since HEY playing it on a crappy laptop was pttthhhhbbbt.
(Also Dart/Lavitz 5ever I will ship it to death so romantic so beautiful their love is eternal mwah mwah mwah)

I forgot about that game! I played the demo back in the day and LOVED it. I need to hunt it down!

Heh, I think I still got Klonoa boxed somewhere... ; ) (or maybe I just had it rented...? ) loved it, too.. it's so long ago, but I remember beating it in 1-2 days... maybe my favorite platformer, or at least one of my favorites...
Legend of Dragoon was one of my favorite RPGs next to FF7... what charming and nice characters... and beatbox-music in battles... <3 (also nice battle system)
Now playing.... 3DS Etrian Odyssey 1, the remake... Millenium... Girl? or something like that... ' 3 ') I like re-exploring the labyrinth in more polished graphics, with 3D animated monsters... story mode is kinda generic, but okay.
Legend of Dragoon is still one of my favorite PS1 RPGs. Dennis Martin had some crazy awesome compositions, pity he doesn't seem to compose much anymore.
Playing a little Borderlands 2 now. I've played Krieg too much...I'm far to reckless to play as any other character, now. I always end up on fire with no shields.

I've bought a copy of Twilight Syndrome off of ebay. When it arrives, I'm going to try and flex my Japanese studies by translating/transcribing as much of it as I can.

Sir Redd of Novus: He who made Prayer of the Faithless that one time, and that was pretty dang rad! :D

I just started playing that yesterday. I love this game!
But I recently picked up Spec Ops: the Line. I got it because everyone has been saying it's different from other military shooters in all the right places.
... They were right. Dear god, they were right...
