WHAT VIDEOGAMES ARE YOU PLAYING RIGHT NOW?

Posts

Apart from Cross Edge, Im having a good time playing Magicka, an indie rpg about ... magic :D You play a wizard, combining elements and creating various fun spell effects. Simple, fun, and the world is full of humor and references to games/movies etc... No loot, no levels, just you, your magic, and ton of enemies to fry/smash/freeze.... you get the point :D And if you can get someone else to play with you, double the fun.

I am playing the game of love.

Also... uh, I haven't played anything except the Gatsby game for a few days. Holy shit. Even The Sims 3 and EO3 have gone untouched!
Making underwater base in Minecraft.
Oh, Minecraft... It's been too long... Last I played, I've been trying to make a sky fortress. I was only able to make the base...
Yeah, I have a sky fortress and am shooting TNT down at bastards. Its fun =3
I finished Trauma Center (yesterday) and now I don't know what ds game to play next. I don't feel like playing Drawn to Life right now. Maybe I can finish my sky fortress...
Suikoden II (for the 2nd time, but this time I will beat it)
and
Armored Core 2 (makes me want to throw my ps2 at my tv)

Just started playing the new Tell Tale Game, Back To The Future : the game
Akin to Ghostbusters: the game, this takes place after the original movies. It's essentially Back to the Future Part 4. What's Marty's life like once Doc leaves for godknowswhen. It has a great impersonator playing Marty and the same actor as Doc is back.
The guy who plays Biff is terrible though. Still... Seems moderately promising.
I won't forget that it's still a telltalegame.......
Playing Dragon Quest VI, I beat the first major boss. :D The Dread Fiend!

I didn't like how I did Awakening, playing through as my Arcane Warrior mage once again to get everything right. I'm also playing the new hardcorps. Nothing feels better then swearing at the screen for the first few hours and then the old contra/metalslug reflexes come back and I've been breezing through it ever since. Also still playing little big planet 2.
So i finally put Etrian Odyssey 3 on my R4 again and started a new save.

I think they got the Buccaneer and Monk's line placement the wrong way round in the descriptions. Monks are front line combat healers, and Buccaneers are dual line melee/range specialists.
Also, they never really made Provoke suck any less at what it's meant to do...
Lord of Arcana, so far I love it ( maybe not as much as monster hunter 3 but very close )

Square Enix presents Lord of Arcana. An Action RPG. A BRUTAL Action RPG!

Its like monster hunter and Phantasy Star online met and had an angry baby boy.
Very intense and hardcore and at times frustratingly grind-core but the awesome battle system makes grinding an addiction.
I would recommend it to any hardcore action rpg fan, if you don't like action rpg then you'll just find it frustrating kinda like demon souls you need to get your game on or suffer some serious consequences thus its not for casual gamers.

My Review:
Apart from that the game is rewarding, you spend like minimum 20 minutes on boss fights but after that if your lucky you can get monster cores which can be used to get sick weapons, armor and powerful magic cards. The character creation system is satisfying ( could have used a bit more options but since its new thats forgivable ) however the guys faces look a little girlish being a square enix game. The music is great IMO and really meets the atmosphere and the village/town was creative however the only downer is maybe you cant mix and match clothing equipment like in monster hunter, you don't have a house but can still save and also its an unforgiving game for newbies e.g you have to grind alot to get nessesaties like potions before you can unlock them also you face some really tough boss monsters ( Agni ) if you dont get your game face on and some grinding for that weapon efficiency level you WILL die ( Good luck with Agni. quick tip get him when he's dizzy after each roll ). I'd give it an 8 out of 10 ( IGN says otherwise but I don't care this games great IMO ).

I finally got to spend some time with Back to the Future.. It's surprisingly good! They did a great job following the series and it's FULL of inside jokes. Right now I'm in the 1950's!

I decided to sit down and finally finish the main quest on Morrowind. Now, aside from using the Mudcrab Merchant to earn one million gold (currently around 860k), there's little left for me to do as I've already finished the questlines for both expansions and explored probably 93% of the overall worldmap.

I'm playing the Advance version of FFVI, with sound restoration and font-adjusting patches.
