Hi all! I'm Mr.L,I'm 21 and just found out about RMN doing a google search. It looks pretty cool.(or maybe it's just because RPGs are my favorite genre)Anyway, I also found out about RPGmaker, which one do you think is the best?

I'm looking forward to meeting people in this community.
I feel that Mr.Y should respond to this...

Welcome to rpgmaker.net!
Mr.Y.....oh god....sorry man...

Welcome Xp and Vx are definatly the best in my opinion. However many people find 2k and 2k3 to be easyier to use.
None of them are necessarily better than each other, it's more in the skill of the creator!

I prefer 2k3 though. I have made some interesting stuff, maybe check it out and learn from it. (Maybe you'll choose to use 2k3 too, then.)

Please keep telling yourself this.

Welcome, Mr. L.
Thank you everyone!

I've just downloaded RPG maker 2003. It's extremely simple to understand, but switches and variables will probobly come to me later...I've started my first game, which is a mystery. ;D

And Karusman, nice pear.
You should consider getting the free trials for XP and VX. The full versions cost $60, but they're more than worth it. They both have a scripting option for near limitless customization, and there are tons of scripts made by others for public use.

Hey, welcome to RMN Mr L! I hope you'll enjoy it here. I joined myself only a month or two ago and have found it very welcoming a friendly.
