THE RARE/OBSCURE RM GAMES REQUEST TOPIC

There was this card game that was incredibly well-made for 2K or 2K3. It's pretty memorable if anyone's played it:

You chose a character and an avatar at the start. I believe one of them had a faceset of the protagonist from Thousand Arms.

The avatars would auto-attack during battle. Your cards had effects like buffing your avatar or dealing direct damage. You could choose to burn cards for mana.

The game progressed through a tournament. There were booster packs you could buy with random rares. The game only took place in this duel city, or whatever.

I just have no idea what it's called anymore.

Hi! Man, I'm glad this thread exists. It's nice to see I'm not the only one who misses old RM games.

Anyways, I'm looking for a game (or more specifically a demo) I can't remember the name of. What I remember about it is that the main character used the sprite of Riza from Treasure of the Rudras. I think she was an apprentice swordswoman or something, and the people in her village made fun of her for her for not being 'lady-like'. I 'think' her name may have been Alice, but I'm not too sure.

I remember the demo ended on a cliff hanger when 'Alice' (if that was her name) seemingly lost control of herself, with something 'awakening' inside her called the 'Avatara' if I remember right. Lastly, I seem to remember an angel called Metatron was a character in the game. I also remember a bit where the characters had to sneak into a castle via some sewers (and yes I know that describes about a million RPGs). Lastly, I remember that the person who made it, had an unfortunate tendency to use the term 'loose' in place of 'lose'.
