This is the thread where you post your releases. For demos, post a screen and a link to the gamepage, and for other media, post as usual.

Remember, this is not the thread to discuss the releases. Discuss the releases here.

-----------------------

Now that's it's been 24+ hours since the start I am officially closing Release Something! Day IX: something about cats. A total of 16 releases were released, which is pretty good considering the shorter notice (intentional!), Game Chill 2009 and the restriction of no full games allowed.

Now in two dimensions!

This is a minigame from Pokemon Hunter 4 that was awesome enough to get a separate releaese. In it, you play as a Porygon named http:// on a quest through a computer world. His goal is to find and defeat the other evil Porygons so they won't come into the real world and wreak havoc.

The game uses an ABS that I took great care in crafting. I did my best to avoid many of the pitfalls such battle systems typically encounter.

You can find it on it's gamepage here: http://rpgmaker.net/games/1661/

Go nuts! Have fun! Report bugs!

Download is a stand alone VX game, no further downloads are required.

Please note, all graphics, sounds, and systems are very much WIP. For example, while the enemy is fully animated in battle, none of the players are. All RTP animations, icons and sounds are placeholders.

"Main" chipset
"Fire 1"

It is apparently standalone. Whilst editable, you don't need anything else installed. I never understood the appeal of this (since you should just install the RTP and get it over with), but it's there.

This showcases one hell of a broken caterpillar system attempting to be dynamic, and tons of battles, with unmodified experience for easy level-ups. You should only consider this a freebie because it is. Not to discuss, but damn. How is this supposed to compete with these other guys'?? Wow, I don't even have a title screen yet!

EDIT: Fixed main and fire. Go and return to your merrymaking. though I should simply make a zip with all patches in it.
This my game called Final Paradise. It is standalone but I am not sure if it has missing files, but if it does you only need the 2k RTP. I did test it for missing files but one never knows right.

Dragon Fantasy: Venaitura 2:

The demo ends just after the first boss battle. I forgot to add an event to tell the player that, but you'd be sure to figure it out on your own, as there is not all that much to do after the battle.

The size is a little big, but I did go and add the RTP and everything else to it. The full game is not going to be much bigger, it's just that I'm using MP3's. It still should not take that long to download, though.

Exclusive screenshot! Not even on the gamepage!

Play as a fanatic cultist out to destroy Michael Gower. With sound effects straight from Fallout!
I suggest you open the winsetup and play the game windowed in 640 resolution (or play it full screen in 320). I found it hard to read in 320 windowed...
Re Quest

A demo of an abs I once worked on. You're a "hero" which takes on requests for a living. The demo includes 7 of this missions. If anyone actually downloads this, please read the readme included. RTP NEEDED to play it.
there might be some bugs still around, and some bits are a little unfinished, but there shouldn't be anything gamebreaking lying around.

Rusty! I made this game in 2005 to close the book on a game I stopped working on in 2001. Its pretty much a
scapbook of where I left off in making the game Angels of Exodus; an idea to "release something" before such an event was held on RMN. It was released before on GamingW but was only available for a few days before the file became a broken link, so I really doubt many people have played this.
I played this game once more before uploading and rolled my eyes at the cheesefest within it. Still, I feel there was something unique about the game I was making in terms of style and atmosphere. I cant think of a single RM game that it feels similar to. And if one exists, I would like to play it myself. I enjoyed seeing it again with all its strengths and weaknesses.

I spent one hour testing it and one hour touching it up before now. There is a graphical bug in my interface and I could not find out what caused it. Two of the features are called "Shabeeb Dancer" where one of them was meant to show "Ze's Quest" The feature is labelled wrong, but it still takes you to the right thing, so try it.

Not really a big update. I increased the spaces of movement for the "Bonehead" enemy and fixed a few minor bugs. There are also a few transition maps between levels that has been added, though it's not complete.

I'll try to get everything done with this game as soon as I can. :X
Dragon Kingdoms V for RPG Maker VX
It's just a little Something I had started some time ago, intended for release in the Summer '08. I didn't get around to releasing it then (obviously), but I did make some changes in dialogue from the RM2k version.

Screens

No, this isn't a charset mismatch. He IS a giant!

A rather nice place, if I say so myself.

There couldn't be any monsters around here, could there?

Oh, wait. This is an RPG, after all. There MUST be monsters somewhere!

And as for the dragons, they appear later in the game than this version goes to (not that much later, though).

Download!
Note that you will need the RMVX RTP.

Slight change of plans I'm going to release what I have done on Druman Action. There's only about 30mins of gameplay, everything is 99% RTP but it should be enough to get some feedback
Autus;

About the game;
So with Autus I wanted to create a game that is always improving on itself. So that's the idea, to just have a game that never stops updating and releasing new content.

At the moment my release is still pending, but I'll post a link to the page and show some screens for ya guys

Here is the town of Humilit

Near the pub in Modusi

And then a view of the current world map (As mentioned before, this will be changing over time)

And as I said he's a link to the game page. A download should be up as soon the status changes from pending to accepted. http://rpgmaker.net/games/1699/

I think I left a cheat teleport event in 2nd area though. It looks like a sewer grate just don't step on it. :)
I will be closing this soon (at around 9am my time) since it will be a full 24 hours since I posted this thread. First I have to catalogue the releases and release my own Something! (which is ready to go - I jst have to rar it up).

EDIT:

Hellion: Rad Sunglasses Mappack

Late but great! Here is the mappack for Hellion with the XTREME LFX content! Download the rar file and unzip the contents of the rar file and copy it into the Hellion folder, overwriting what's there. Let me know if it doesn't work.

Thanks to:
AznChipmunk for the cool looking level.
geodude for rad sunglasses and map idea
GreatRedSpirit for the darkness code and image.
kentona for putting it all together and making another rocking arrow tile puzzle (booyah)
hyadain for his awesome DQ3 remix

To access the Rad Sunglasses map go to the pool in the lower right section of Salidar and inspect the waterfall. There is an inscription that you need to decipher and the way to Rad Sunglasses castle will be unlocked.
