Just as the title asks. I've seen Kentona do it along with a bunch of you other buggers too.

This tool saves the content of a RPG Maker map as BMP file. Simply copy the tool in your project folder and run it. Then enter the ID of the map you want to save as BMP and hit enter. Then it will be saved as "Map####.bmp".

You might have to manually copy the link and paste it in your browser to make the download start. There are some issues with auto-tiles getting mucked up in the screenshot.
Wow, never heard of such thing.
Does it include events on the image?
Wow...

This is a rare find... how'd you get this, kentona?

Cherry post a list of about 14 tools some time ago. This tool was one of them.

No, it does NOT include events. You'd have to add them manually to the screenshot. Also, like I mentioned already, auto-tiles get screwed up. That isn't a problem for me since my maps are massive and when I scale them down such imperfections become moot, but for smaller maps it is evident: http://rpgmaker.net/games/1843/images/8972/

Check out some of the desert auto-tiles around the map to see what I mean.

Srsly, this isn't rare. It's just from the german community. Cherry is the one and only patch god in the rpg-maker community here a thread with all patches for the rm 2k/3:

Does this only work with 2k3? : (
Oh damn. I just played and pasted a bunch of printscreens together in a bigass image. ^.^ Now there's an easier way?

Same... but in some cases that's the better way to go, since the program doesn't account for events.
Or you can just take a print screen of the zoomed out map in the editing mode. :D
But then it has all the squares... :(
