Ok, so I've been getting a lot of complaints about the font that I have been using in an XP game of mine. I managed to find a way to change the font, but you still can't read it. I've been wondering if anyone could help me code the script to have an outline or shadow around the font to make it more legible.

What'd you'd do is, wherever text is drawn, have it draw the outline or shadow before it by drawing the text +- 1 pixel to a side - so at (x+1,y) (x-1,y) (x,y+1) and (x,y-1). For a shadow, cut out x-1 and y-1.

Following up on Craze's information, you'll also need to alias and then redefine the draw_text method to do what he said.
