RECOMMEND A GAME.

So, I'm sure we've all found flash games or browser games (is there a difference?) that we love to pieces. So let's share!

I found this platformer and I've become determined to beat it, dammit! It's pretty cute. You control a knight who is determined to save the princess and will allow nothing to block his path! Literally. Basically he just charges forward and you control his jumping by clicking on the right-hand image of him. And, that's about it really. If you hit a monster with your sword it dies (boss monsters take a lot longer to kill.)

Try it here!

Of his games, Looming, Silent Conversation, Babies Dream of Dead Worlds, How to Raise a Dragon, and The Majesty of Colors are great. i will not describe anything because i am dumb and lazy and will die alone

this is a pretty cool game (although not a browser game so)

i guess i play elona shooter more than most flash games, it's kind of entertaining
Happy Wheels is a pretty fun and funny game to play. You go through courses (official courses and player-made courses) trying to reach the finish line, trying not to get crushed/cut up/blown up/etc. You can also launch yourself (as well as your kid if you're playing as Irresponsible Dad) out of your vehicle to make a jump or just for fun.

Be warned though, the game is kinda' gory.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

The Unofficial Squaresoft MUD

Maybe you can't tolerate text-based games, but they don't bother me at all, especially when they're this good. This one is really unique as MUDs go; almost everything is custom. It uses the Final Fantasy Tactics job system, and has areas based very accurately on the worlds from Final Fantasy 5/6/7, Chrono Trigger, and Secret of Mana. I don't mean that they made some generic/original town and put rabites near it and named it Potos. I mean that the areas from the original games are metitculously recreated in great detail in a text-based format. And many of the events and storylines, too.

It's a fan game, obviously, but when I started I had never played FF5 or Secret of Mana and could barely remember a damn thing about FF Tactics, and it was still extremely enjoyable and easy enough to understand. It helps a lot that it's more of a re-creation than a sequel to the original games.

There are a few reviews of it on Mudconnector, this is the most recent and most detailed one: http://www.mudconnect.com/mud-bin/prev/review.cgi?rid=29139 While I don't agree with everything in the review (most of the old douchebag players left, for one thing, and I think story missions are way more awesome than dumb little things like the fur shop), I guess the review still gives a good overview by someone who isn't me.

Yes. There's other browser games that aren't made in flash. There's the (thankfully dead, I pray Flash would follow suit) Java applets, you can make games in pure HTML5 and CSS3 (for now, the spec for both hasn't been finalized iirc so they may break later), and when some actual horsepower is needed there's Unity. I remember hearing about Adobe working on something similar to Unity but damned if I can remember the name.
The only browser game I've played to death (other than Zuma) was the Kitty Cannon game, and that was only because of contests on Ghostlight a few years ago.

I had a lot of fun with it, though.

That is a 7 year necro, haha

Is that a record?
Normally I'd say something about how mocking necro-bumps for relevant topics is stupid, but, seeing as to how Flash is being elbowed completely off of the web...

...Well, I can at least recommend Kenta Cho's games. He has a few nice ones that run in the browser (scroll down a little to the "Browser" section):

L.A.2 is really fun for me, to try and get a high score.
7 YEARS. (Um, if there happens to be a game called that, I blindly recommend it.)
I wish I could remember the flash games I played on Newgrounds.com when I was in highschool but I dont remember there names.

One I think I can remember by name and its not a great game but its a fun parody is something called The Legend of Zelda: The Lampshade of no real significance. I think thats the one I'm remembering
I hate people so I play gta Vice City to shoot virtual people to reduce stress, aversion.
