Yeah I decided to quit this site on all of my 3 games because the reviews of people who play the whole game got deleted and the reviews of people who did play 1 hour of the game stay. I find that to say at least ridiculous because those are the people who really know what they are talking about unless some others here.
Also because things did get personally against me even from the management I have no other choice than quit here for all my 3 games. Of course the game is still available on other sites and on my main website.

I played 7 hours and it was bad. Expecting someone to endure more than an hour of a game that does not "pick up" by then is foolish, to say the least. It doesn't matter how much it picks up or how good it gets. If the first hour or half hour is dull, plodding and incomprehensible, nobody is going to see anything past that. RPG Maker games are dime-a-dozen and you have given the audience no incentive for them to continue playing to the 20-hour mark.

Dude, there's an entire thread of people trying to work through your game, why quit when you're getting all this free attention? They're not subjecting themselves to 90 hours+ just to trash it, I feel there's genuine want to help you understand the problems. Lots of people here would kill to have people sign up to play their games.
5 hours here, so far - with an intention to finish it, and while it is bad in some ways, it's 'okay' in others. I like the thought you put into the battle system - there's a lot there, maybe a little too much in a few cases. The mapping is far from the worst I've ever seen, but again, it's not the best either. The music is pretty good. There's a lot of things that need polishing - from the overlarge maps, to the ugly/annoying to navigate custom menus, to the unbalancing of technical additions. Overall, with what I've played thus far I'd give it a 1.5 stars. It has promise and maybe the story will wow me later down the track, but even then what's there now detracts a bit from the overall enjoyment.
And hey! I didn't mention the walk speed this time! Oh, wait a sec...
PS: I was hoping to add a review at a later date once I'd finished it. You gotta take the good with the bad when making a game. Not everyone is going to enjoy your creation, but if there's a general outcry you gotta at least listen to what is said and weigh it appropriately. That said, it is your game. You choose what to do or not do with it. Taking away the chance for it to be played by others that may not agree with everyone else, or even from those who do believe it isn't that great is up to you...

I'm sure super_stunner is glad that a topic devoted to his game is partly titled "Sharing the Suffering." Let us pretend that group mocking = helpful criticism.
i was almost certain i played this once. the intro was kind of boring but then there was a bit where you team up with this random dwarf who only says two lines to you and need to explore a "mummy cavern" (actual phrase) filled with kobolds and ghastly spooks. i thought that was pretty excellent / the true sense of someone just having fun mucking around in rpgmaker holy moley. on the other hand i haven't seen anyone mention it so i guess i was thinking of a different game all along! this is me contributing.

Here is the best advice I can give to you, pasted right from my review:
"The plot is indecipherable as far as I've played, except that it involves aliens who inhabited a planet and stole a baby. If the plot twist comes 20 hours into the game, I can only surmise it is that Lance was the baby stolen at the beginning of the game. But guess what? It doesn't matter how good your plot twist is. Nobody is going to see it, because the game is so damn painful to play through. Writing an enthralling plot involves a decent amount of foreshadowing, a present and ongoing conflict, lucid dialogue and narrative, intelligible exposure and compelling characters, all of which Final Tear 3 lacks. Its main demise is that no one knows what the damn conflict is from the indistinct one-hour long introduction. Conflict is what keeps a story going and what keeps a player playing. What is the player's goal? Rescue a princess from a castle? Recover a stolen artifact? Brave across dangerous territory to reach his father? None of this is made apparent. The actual main goal doesn't have to be made apparent from the very beginning, but small ones leading up to the main one can. A good example would be Chrono Trigger starting off with little conflict, until Crono bumps into Marle and she is subsequently sent into the Middle Ages. We don't find out about Lavos until a few hours later, but we're given an interesting set of sub-plots and arcs that establish the mood of the game before the "reveal". It is also very rude to suddenly switch perspectives after viewing a one-hour long introduction and have them play another one-hour long introduction as another character.
Listen. RPG Maker games are dime-a-dozen. They are freeware (mostly). You will be lucky if someone plays your game for an hour waiting for something interesting to happen before deleting it forever. Nobody paid any money, so what is the incentive to keep playing? This is not like a bad movie, where you might stay for the whole thing because you just shedded ten bones. This is the awful NES ROM you send to your Recycle Bin after playing for two minutes and realizing how clunky the controls are. Know your market and design your product accordingly. I repeat, NOBODY is going to play for twenty hours waiting for it to "get good", no matter how good it gets. A tree falls in the forest, and so on... you know?
The key is to hook the player from the first scene, not 20 hours into the game. That's horrible storytelling design. Nothing more. "

You are 100% incapable of accepting the possibility that there may be something wrong with your game, so just keep pretending it's a masterpiece and life will work out fine for you.

That, and it's not all about his game. There may be other games planned on the cards (we were tossing around a few names of very long games besides FT3), where the suffering shall be shared. It's never all about you, even if it seems it may be.

I know that there are still people that want to help me and such. But those can register on my forum and then we look what we can do. But on this site I quit. I was already planning to do so for some time now, but the deletion of the only 2 reviews of people completing my game was the last drop in the bucket for me.
I pity this for the people who did enjoy my game, but those can of course join the community at my forums. But as how are things now, my game wouldn't be even good even if I did make it perfect. So why bother with this website.

Not at all, like I said before those things that are not so good yet are being worked on. But not for this website anymore.

I am fairly certain those two people did not complete the game. Re-reading their reviews did not convince me of that. And lordsummoner's review of the plot was very vague. In fact, he only talked about the introduction in it, and he couldn't even explain it properly, copping out to "I won't reveal anymore, just play the game!" He also basically lied about your roulette mini-game (which is also just located in the first village), which is severely broken. There was simply no real candor in that review.

Well they did complete my game, ( a lot of other peole too btw) they both send the final save game. I think that lord summon did not tell about it because of spoilers. The story is very spoiler intensive because it has multi layers of influence.
The roulette game is not broken at all, as far as I know there are no bugs in it (knocks on table). That you don't understand how it works is somethings different than it being broken.
This site has no prove at all that those reviews are false/fake. And they can see it if its fake by a lot of information that is leaving behind when you login to this site. So they do know its not fake but even then they delete those reviews well that is reason enough for me to delete these games here for good.
Why would they send you the final save game? Do you actually need to see "proof" if someone actually downed 150 hours to play this awful game...
Actually... whatever, man. The roulette game is awesome. The game is flawless. The plot is totally Inception-like and everyone who has not played 20 hours to see this, despite having any real incentive to, is a jackass. Don't change a thing =)

author=LibertyIf so, i hope you change it from 'sharing the suffering,' because that's pretty negative. Unless you're you planning on doing games that are anticipatedly (is this a word? i'm leaning towards no haha) bad? In that case, surely you could be spending your time reviewing a game you're genuinely interested in and getting through it all yourself; making the review that bit more reliable, and avoiding giving rubbish games like 10 reviews.

It's not a totally bad idea, but i can see some reviews coming out dodgy (someone reviewing it after only starting to play 2/3rds of the way through seems strange).
