Strengths and Weaknesses
There are five elements of attack in the game, which are : Non-elemental, Fire, Ice, Electric and Wind. Each enemy has their strengths and weaknesses that will cause them to react differently to these five elements. For example, enemies who are strong against fire will take less damage from fire attack. But if they are weak against ice, they'll take at least double damage from ice attack.
However, you can only pick two choices of weapons into the mission. So it's a nice idea to save before you enter any mission.
Knock Down
The bonus of exploiting an enemy's weakness does not only do more damage, but also there's a chance that the attack will knock them down. When an enemy is down, the enemy will be vulnerable and do nothing for a short period of time, leaving you more time to retaliate, or help decreases number of bullets on the screen.
Rave and D.R.D
Everytime you attack or kill an enemy, you'll recieve some rave point which you can see the progress in the rave guage. Once the guage is full, you'll get one R-stock for spending to use DRD.
DRD is a defensive device that you can select one and only one before entering the mission. This range from a sheild, protecting you from bullets for a short period of time, to a shockwave that will wipe out all bullets in the screen.
Knock down an enemy will also give you rave point bonus.
High Risk High Gain
Once you killed an enemy, all the bullets it shoot that are still on the screen will become your bonus exp. Thus, one strategy to level up quickly and go for highscore is to have most bullets possible on the screen before killing off any enemy.
Also, if your ship overlap with enemies or bullets, but doesn't hit your hitbox, you'll get extra score and exp also. The longer you can stay in that position, the more score and exp.

USERBAR

Maaaaaaan. The artwork for this is totally awesome. Gonna be checking this out later.
I just tried this. Wow, like really, wow. Sure, the circles and triangles for enemies are a bit square (*shot*) but this runs pretty smoothly and definitely looks professional quality. For a shooter game, there is a bit much dialog, but it's to develop the characters right? It works well enough, and is bearable.
I got to the boss of the second mission, and then lost, so bleh. But this is pretty damn good for an RM game. The art is very smooth too, and put to good use in the game, I see.
This might have just been me over-looking it, but I never saw just where the remaining lives were... Also, very rarely could I understand what Len was saying. The sound was just a bit fuzzy and quiet compared to the background music. Oh well. Pretty good over all.

Thank for your comment. I'm glad you like the game ^ ^.
Are the other sound effect are quiter than the bgm as well? I was going to normalize all the sound in the game to have the same level of volume but I didn't have time. (This game was for RMXP contest and done in two months) And I'm too busy on the other game to update this one lol. I hope adjusting the bgm and se volume in option would help solve that problem :S
Did you install the font that come with the game? Without it, you won't see your score, lives , levels and your exp. You'll really need to see all those parameters in order to upgrade your ship.
Many complain about the amount of dialog too. My bad. I should have implemented the skip the cutscene option. But I just want people to really read the story before they move on in the story. If you repeat the same stage, you will have an option to skip the cutscene.
Happy gaming!

For the spoilers you need to insert the Hide in brackets, and insert /Hide in brackets at the end of the spoiler.
Yeah did you do that art? The use of gradients in your shading is unusual and pretty bizarre but it actually works out pretty well.
Anyway I have to try this over the weekend!

Yes, all the artworks are original. They're done by Piti :)
@loki
Thanks! I'll modify the first post then.
EDIT : It doesn't seems to work = =; I'll leave it just like this then lol. Anyway, I just noticed that you use the userbar.... >w< That made my day!

Oh, hi. XD Didn't notice this. I don't remember the other sound effects being too quiet, no. I think they were fine. Just Len's speech, was a bit fuzzy and quiet to really hear.
And, no, I didn't notice a font, that would be good then. >><
As for skip scene, it's good, that you put it in for repeats, however, what I found annoying was when I died on a level, and got Game Over, I would have to go through the same dialog at the beginning again, but still couldn't skip it. So, yeah, putting it in anyway is probably good. Most people will read it, I expect.
At the same time, your dialog still seems excessive. In writing, the principle is (and I'm rather bad at following this myself): Each line should either advance the story or advance character development.
Now, as I recall, the advancement of the story in those lines was pretty thin. Most of it was character development. Another theory says that each character takes 25 lines to fully develop, and 25 lines to develop a relationship between two characters. So, while I can see the point here, your character development is so... blatant that that much talking isn't really necessary. For a shooter game especially. Even in an RPG it would be pushing it, though. Most of it really just seems unnecessary.
That's just the sense, I got, though.
I must say I can easily say this is the best game is the graphics department the artwork stunning and the characters remind me slightly of "Cyborg 009"
@Euphorian
I admit about the game script part. English is not my first language and I cant say that writing in English is my strongest point either. However, that's the best I could do within two months ^ ^;; I wish I had more time for writing and proof reading the game script. Thank you very much for your comment and I will make sure that I will improve in this department of my next game. :)

I corrected the links in your first post.
I just played this for a little bit and got trounced on mission 2. I am terrible at bullet hell shooters.
However, it did run pretty well on my machine. My one complaint is that the voice samples are way too quiet.

@WIP
Thank you for your feedback and for fixing the link! Sorry about the voice volume, but as I replied Euphorian in the above post, I didn't really have time to normalize all the sound to adjust the volume to be all at the same level. I'll make sure to take care of this in my next game. Gah, should have implemented the voice acting volume control in the option menu :/ I hope you can finish the game sometime! If you find the game difficult, griding more levels should make it easier for those who think they're not good at bullet hell shmup. And if you're up to a challenge, you can adjust your status to fit your challenge anytime :)

This is the best RMXP game I've ever played! Not even kidding dude.
I'm going to do my best to try and get it promoted around the site. You do however need a decent host.
EDIT: Also where did your music come from? I should write you some better music <3

I think this site offers game hosting.
