Hey guys. The project I'm working on at the moment is a sci-fi rpg soundtrack. I'm only using a few instruments to keep things in the realms of achievability.

Anyway, the idea is that the music would be for a SNES style game. RM2k3 style. Well, after a brief irc session, I was introduced to a website that can change MIDIs to MP3s.. But, I'm not sure whether I prefer the MP3 version or not. I'm wondering if you could just give a quick: 'sounds better' or 'sounds worse'. I would appreciate it. =]

Having a signature is too mainstream. I'm not part of your system!
I prefer the mp3 but I think both would work.

The MP3 sounds better, as it probably should. However, if space is an issue, the much smaller MIDI version will serve.
dear god, use the MIDI

also, sort out the levels. far too quiet
The MP3 gives off a better sci-fi vibe, imo. The volume is way too low, though. Just increase the volume and it should be fine.
